The Honor 200 just launched in India as HTech’s latest mid range smartphone. Looking at the price it released, it competes with a bunch of other phones like the recently announced Oppo Reno 12 Pro. So which one is better? Here’s a quick comparison based on their specs and features.

Snapdragon vs Dimensity mid-range chips

One of the biggest difference between the two devices are the processors that the Chinese brands equipped on their respective offerings. The Honor 200 launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

On the other hand, the Reno 12 Pro packs the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy that comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage as well. Both smartphones feature a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary sensor is a 50-megapixel sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter on the duo. Although, the Honor 200 offers 2.5x optical zoom compared to the Reno 12 Pro’s 2x optical zoom. The third and final camera is the ultra wide angle lens, which has a 12-megapixel resolution on the Honor phone and an 8-megapixel resolution of the Oppo device. For selfies and video calls, these phones have a 50-megapixel shooter.

These similar specs are also reflected on the front as well. The two mid range smartphones 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and HDR support. Honor’s handset offers a 4,000 nits of peak brightness, which is much higher than the 1200 nits on the Reno 12 Pro. Oppo does have an edge in endurance thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is also rated with IP65 for water and dust resistance.

Pricing

The Honor 200 was just released in India for a starting price tag of 34,999 INR for the 8GB + 256GB option. But for 32,999 INR, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro is more affordable for an identical starting storage configuration. However, the pricing for both models seem reasonable for the specs and features that are offered.

Oppo’s Reno 12 Pro offers capable specs and features, but one of its highlighting aspects is undoubtedly the use of AI powered software features like the AI Eraser 2.0, AI Clear Face, and more. Honor has finally launched the Honor 200 series in the Indian market, a couple of months after the Chinese debut. The lineup includes the Honor 200 and the 200 Pro. In this article, we will be covering all the details of the Honor 200.

Honor 200 specs:

The Honor 200 features a 6.7-inch 2664 × 1200 OLED four-edge curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It has a local peak brightness of 4000 nits, displays 1.07 billion colors, offers natural light-like eye protection, sleep-assist display technology, and has passed the German Rheinland TÜV flicker-free certification.

Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and Adreno 720 GPU, it uses a stainless steel vapor chamber, with an extra-large VC area of 36,881mm². The cooling system is thin, measuring approximately 0.3mm.

The rear camera setup has a 50MP camera with an f/1.95 aperture and OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture and OIS, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera supports up to 4K video recording and up to 50x digital zoom, with modes like night mode, portrait mode, and AI photography. On July 18, Htech will announce the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in India. The press releases rolled out by the band suggest that the 200 series heading to India could be the same devices that debuted in China in May of this year. Ahead of the Indian launch, the company has confirmed the key details of the Honor 200 series’ key specifications.

Honor 200 series key details confirmed before India launch

According to Htech, in a market where lithium batteries dominate, the Honor 200 series will be equipped with a silicon-based anode technology-powered battery. It utilizes distributed Li+ transmission to boost power density by 6% and improve charging rates.

The company added that the Micro-tunnelling Laser Guidance Technology further enhances the fast-charging capabilities of the Honor 200 series without compromising power density. It claimed that it has rigorously tested this battery under extreme conditions to ensure safety and longevity.

The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro feature 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. The Pro variant offers 100W charging, promising a full charge in 41 minutes. Additionally, it will support 66W wireless charging. To maintain optimal performance, the 200 Pro includes a stainless-steel vapor chamber with a 36,881mm2 area.

The Honor 200 and 200 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The Pro model also features the Honor C1 + RF enhancement chipset for superior telecommunications and internet connectivity.  The 200 series will have up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, as well as MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. The duo is almost identical in terms of specs except for a few big differences. For instance, the vanilla variant is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC as compared to a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 underneath the pro version.

Additionally, the pro model supports wireless charging and a secondary depth sensor on the front for face authentication system. Otherwise, they come with same design, a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, a 50MP (wide) + 50MP (2.5x telephoto) + 12MP (ultrawide) camera setup, a 5,200mAh battery, and 100W wired charging support.

There will be two devices, namely Red Magic 9S Pro and Red Magic 9S Pro Plus. Both of them will mostly differ in terms of battery capacity and charging speed while sharing the rest of the specs.

They will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version. This chipset is nothing but an overclocked version (3.4Ghz) found inside the Galaxy S24 series as Sanapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.

CMF Phone 1

CMF, the sub-brand of CMF, has scheduled an event for July 8. The company will unveil its inaugural smartphone at this conference called CMF Phone 1.

This device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It will be the first handset in India to feature this chip.

As per leaks, the product will arrive with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, a 50MP rear camera, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W charging support. 

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6

Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024 will take place on July 10. The company will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at this conference.

The latest foldables from the firm will come with minor upgrades over their predecessors. There will be some minute changes in design and specs.

Both of them will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. The Flip 6 will feature a new 50MP primary camera and a larger 4,000mAh battery.

Oppo Reno 12 Series

The Oppo Reno 12 series is set to launch in India in July. However, the exact date is not known as of writing this article.

The global lineup consists of two devices, namely Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. These products are different from their Chinese counterparts and comes with several AI features.

The duo is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display. They have the same 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide unit. However, the Pro version gets a 50MP 2x telephoto snapper and a 50MP selfie camera.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus is confirmed to launch in China in July. The date is not out as of writing this article.

As the name suggests, the phone will be an upgraded version of iQOO Neo 9 Pro. As per leaks, it will be not only faster but also arrive with a few useful features.

The device is tipped to offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, a 50MP + 50MP dual rear camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a 5,500mAh battery.

Realme GT 6

The Realme GT 6 is set to launch in China in July. It will be the brand’s first proper flagship smartphone in a long while.

The device will be different from the GT 6 available in global markets. It will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip instead of a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Soc.

The handset will come with a 1.5K LTPO flat OLED display, a metal frame, a 50MP primary camera, a 6,000mAh battery, and 100W charging support.

Honor 200 Series

The Honor 200 series is expected to launch in India in July. The brand is said to release both Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in the region.

These handsets sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K curved OLED display, a 50MP (wide) + 50MP (2.5x telephoto) + 12MP (ultrawide) triple camera system, and a 5,200mAh battery.

The vanilla model is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, while the pro version is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G

The Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G is anticipated to launch in India in July. The product is the only 5G-enabled smartphone in the Spark 20 series.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset and sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz display (LCD). It comes with a 108MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and dual stereo speakers.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip

Redmi K70 Ultra

However, before its Indian release, Honor will unveil the series for the global market. The global launch of the Honor 200 duo is scheduled for June 12. Honor 200, 200 Pro prices leaked

The Honor 200 series global launch event will be held on Jun 12 in Paris. As per a leak tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Honor 200 and 200 Pro will be available in 12GB+512GB configuration.

The Honor 200 will be priced between €600 and €650, whereas the Pro model will cost between €750 and €800. The leak further states that the brand will offer a free pair of TWS earbuds worth €99 with Honor Portrait Box bundle in some European countries. It appears that the Honor 200 and 200 Pro heading to the global market will have the same specifications as their Chinese counterparts.

The Honor 200 and 200 Pro smartphones share similar design aesthetics and high-end specifications. Last week, Honor launched the Honor 200 series of smartphones in China. The series consists of two devices, the Honor 200 and 200 Pro, and succeeds the Honor 100 series which debuted back in November. In a separate article, we have talked about the differences between the 200 Pro and the 100 Pro, and in this one, we will discuss the regular models.

Design & display

Compared to last year’s model, Honor has made minimal design changes in the new Honor 200. The one and only difference that you’ll notice is the shape of the new camera island, which is now oval-shaped, quite similar to the Honor 100 Pro.

On the front, the device features a 6.7-inch 2664×1200 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and the capability to reproduce 1.07 billion different colors. All of these specs are the same as the previous model, with the only difference being that the peak brightness of the panel has been bumped up to 4000 nits from 2,600 nits (only achievable while displaying HDR content).

Performance & battery

The Honor 200 has the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor as its predecessor. This mid-range processor is based on TSMC’s 4nm process node and is paired with an Adreno 720 GPU. Compared to the 4,572mm² stainless steel bionic vapor chamber cooling system on the previous model, the Honor 200 comes with an upgraded 5029mm² vapor chamber with a total heat dissipation area of 34696mm².

The battery has also been slightly upgraded, going from 5,000mAh to 5200mAh. That said, the fast charging has remained the same at 100W (wired). Additionally, both devices use the same LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

Cameras

Cameras are another department where these devices are almost identical. Same as the Honor 100, the 200 also uses a Sony IMX906 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.95 aperture and OIS along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The only difference is that the brand has added a third camera on the back, which is a 50MP telephoto unit with an f/2.4 aperture, optical image stabilization, and up to 50x digital zoom.

The front camera on both of these devices is a 50MP unit with f/2.1 aperture, which can record 4K videos in up to 30 FPS. The primary camera on both devices is capable of 4K recording at 30 FPS and 1080p recording at up to 60 FPS.

Pricing

While the specs are almost the same, the pricing has slightly increased. The Honor 100 debuted at 2,499 Yuan for the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB model, 2,799 Yuan for 16 GB RAM + 256 GB, and 2,999 Yuan for 16 GB RAM + 512 GB models. In contrast, the Honor 200 starts at 2699 Yuan ($372) for the 12GB+256GB variant, 2999 Yuan ($414) for both the 12GB RAM+512GB and 16GB RAM+256GB variants, and 3199 Yuan ($442) for the 16GB RAM+512GB variant.

Conclusion

The Honor 200 is more of an Honor 100 refresh than a proper successor. It uses almost identical hardware from the previous model with minimal modifications. The peak brightness stat is more of an on-paper stat than anything noticeable in day-to-day use, and the same goes for the 200mAh battery size increase. The design lifted from the Honor 100 Pro makes it look better, and the 50MP telephoto camera is pretty much the only significant addition.

Only three brands have officially confirmed to debut new handsets. These are Xiaomi, Vivo, and Honor. 

Additionally, based on leaks and teasers, Realme, Redmi, Oppo, and Motorola may also unveil new smartphones.

One of the aforementioned devices will be a foldable, while the remaining will be mid-rangers and budget models. Let’s check out these products one by one.

Upcoming Smartphones in June 2024

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is scheduled to launch in India on June 6. It is the company’s first foldable smartphone in the country.

Since the handset is already official in China, we know everything about it. The only thing that’s unknown at this point is its Indian pricing.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro comes with an 8.03-inch main display, a 6.53-inch cover screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP (wide) + 50MP (ultrawide), macro) + 64MP (3x periscope telephoto) triple camera system, a 5,700mAh battery, and 100W wired as well as 50W wireless charging support.

Xiaomi 14 Civi

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is set to launch in India on June 12. The product is a rebranded Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.

Thus, everything about this phone is already out, except for the price. It is expected to cost around ₹50,000.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi will arrive with a 6.55-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, a 50MP (wide) + 12MP (ultrawide) + 50MP (2x telephoto) triple camera setup, 32MP (wide) + 32MP (ultrawide) dual selfie cameras, a 4,700mAh battery, 67W wired charging support.

Honor 200 Series

The Honor 200 series global launch is scheduled for June 12. The event will take place in Paris, France.

The lineup recently went official in China. It consists of two models, namely Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro.

Both handsets have a 6.7-inch 120Hz curved OLED display, a 50MP (wide) + 12MP (ultrawide) + 50MP (2.5x telephoto) triple camera system, a 50MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 100W wired charging support.

However, the pro variant houses a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC compared to a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip inside the vanilla model.

Realme GT 6

The Realme GT 6 is officially teased to launch soon. The product is expected to go official in June.

The device is said to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6. Hence, it will be a flagship killer (mid-ranger with a powerful chipset).

The smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED display, a 50MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) dual rear cameras, a 32MP selfie camera, a 5,500mAh battery, and120W wired charging support.

Oppo F27 Pro

The Oppo F27 Pro is anticipated to launch in India in June. It is rumored to be a rebranded Oppo A3 Pro.

Thus, it will be IP69-rated for dust and water resistance. It will have a circular camera module and a leather back.

The phone will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip, a 64MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 67W wired charging support.

Motorola Moto G85 5G

Motorola may unveil the Moto G85 in June. As per leaks, its design will be similar to the Edge 50 series.

It will likely be the first smartphone with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chip. Further, it will have two rear cameras headed by a 50MP primary shooter.

The handset is expected to cost around €300 in Europe.

Redmi 13 Series

The Redmi 13 series might break cover in June. The lineup is expected to include a 4G and a 5G model.

The Redmi 13 4G version is anticipated to arrive with a 6.79-inch 90Hz display, a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra SoC, and a 108MP rear camera. It will have a glass back design and support 33W wired charging.

The Redmi 13 5G will be almost identical to its 4G counterpart, except for the chip. It is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile platform.

The Chinese brand unveiled the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro earlier this week. The landing page for the two devices went live on Amazon India. This microsite features a teaser poster that states that these are coming soon. While no official details or the design were revealed, the earlier Chinese launch has revealed everything we need to know about these upcoming devices.

To recall, the Honor 200 sports a tall 6.7-inch curved OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and is powered by a large 5,200mAH battery pack, which supports 100W wired fast charging. It features a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the rear and a 50-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.

On the other hand, the Honor 200 Pro is a flagship model with a taller 6.8-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and houses a large 5,000mAh battery pack with 100W wired fast charging as well. The rear has a 50-megapixel triple camera setup and the front has a 50-megapixel dual camera module.

Honor has officially introduced its new flagship series, the Honor 200, in China. This lineup includes two models: the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro. In this article, we will explore the specifications of the standard Honor 200 model. Let’s dive in.

Honor 200 Specifications:

Honor 200 comes with a 6.7-inch 2664×1200 OLED four-edge curved display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It boasts a local peak brightness of 4000 nits and can display 1.07 billion colors. The screen also features natural light-like eye protection, and sleep-assist display technology, and has passed the German Rheinland TÜV flicker-free certification.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset along with Adreno 720 GPU. To manage heat efficiently, the Honor 200 features the all-domain cold drive cooling system 2.0. The cooling system boasts an extra-large VC area of 5029mm², contributing to an impressive total heat dissipation area of 34696mm². Despite its large cooling capacity, the system remains thin, measuring approximately 0.3mm, ensuring the device stays sleek and comfortable to use.

In terms of storage and RAM, the device comes in five variants: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. Out of the box, the phone runs on MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14.

The phone comes with several special features, such as one-click blockbuster video creation, gallery semantic search, dynamic capsule, magic lock screen, and various intelligent modes for multitasking and personalization.

In terms of connectivity, Honor 200 features WLAN protocols 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.3, infrared remote control, and NFC. The device also comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. For audio, the device features stereo speakers with Histen 7.1 audio effects.

Honor 200 measures 161.5 mm in length, 74.6 mm in width, and 7.7 mm in thickness, with a weight of approximately 187 grams.

Pricing and Availability

Honor 200 comes in Moonlight White, Coral Pink, Velvet Black, and Sea Blue colors.

It is priced at 2699 Yuan ($372) for the 12GB+256GB variant, 2999 Yuan ($414) for both the 12GB RAM+512GB and 16GB RAM+256GB variants, and 3199 Yuan ($442) for the 16GB RAM+512GB variant. Pre-sale begins on May 27, 2024, at 20:30, with official sales starting on May 31, 2024, at 10:08.

The handset will come with a vegan leather back, a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 45W charging support.

Honor 200 Series

The Honor 200 series is scheduled to launch in China on May 27 (Monday). The lineup will include two devices, namely Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro.

The vanilla model will arrive with a 6.7-inch quad-curved OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Enhanced Version chipset, a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera, a 5,200mAh battery, and 100W wired charging support.

Whereas the pro variant will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED display, 50MP OmniVision OV50H rear camera, a 5,200mAh battery, and 100W wired as well as 66W wireless charging support.

Realme Narzo N65 5G

The Realme Narzo N65 5G is set to launch in India on May 28 (Tuesday). It will be announced at 12 PM IST.

As per teasers, the product seems like a rebranded Realme C65 5G. It will feature a flat frame and circular camera module.

The phone is expected to arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 6.67-inch HD+ 120Hz display (LCD), a 50MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 15W charging support.

Vivo S19 Series

The Vivo S19 series will be unveiled on May 30 (Thursday) in China. The lineup will consist of Vvio S19 and Vivo S19 Pro.

The Vivo S19 Pro is said to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset, a 6.78-inch curved OLED display, a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera, an IP69 rating, a 5,500mAh battery, and 80W wired charging support.

Chinese tech giant Honor has officially announced the launch date for its next smartphone series, the Honor 200. The company will unveil both the standard Honor 200 and the higher-end Honor 200 Pro on May 27th in China. 

Even the phone pre-orders are now open on Honor’s website, revealing their designs and color options.

Both models will be available in four colors: Black, Pink, White, and Blue. They also feature a similar rear design with a comparable camera island layout.

The main design difference between the phones is at the front. The standard Honor 200 has a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera, while the Pro version features a pill-shaped notch, likely to accommodate dual selfie cameras.

While the official specifications have not been announced yet, reliable source Digital Chat Station has provided some insights into the possible features.

According to the tipster, the primary camera on both phones is rumored to be a 50MP sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and an f/1.9 aperture. DCS also suggests a 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging capabilities for the lineup. Additionally, the telephoto camera is said to boast a 50x digital zoom.

Honor has yet to confirm the complete specifications for either phone. More details are expected to surface in the days leading up to the official launch event on May 27th.

Honor recently launched the Honor 200 Lite smartphone globally. They’re expected to follow it up with the Honor 200 and 200 Pro next. Recently, the alleged renders of the Honor 200 Pro surfaced on Chinese social media platform Weibo which were later shared by users on Twitter as well.

However, Jiang Hairong, Chief Marketing Officer of Honor China, responded to these renders on Weibo, stating that they are “fake” and the actual phone “will definitely look better.” With that, the design of the Honor 200 series is still a mystery.

We do have some rumors though. The alleged Honor 200 and 200 Pro recently surfaced on the 3C certification site revealing the device will have 100W fast charging support. 

Additionally, leaks suggest the Honor 200 phones will feature a quad-curved OLED panel with 1.5K resolution. The Pro model may include a dual selfie camera module housed in a pill-shaped cutout.

As for the performance, the Honor 200 will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Pro variant may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. To recall, the Honor 100 and 100 Pro, which debuted in November 2023, featured the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively.

Furthermore, a leak from earlier this week suggests that the Honor 200 phones might debut by the end of May. If this rumored timeframe holds true, Honor should make official announcements about the devices soon.

A couple of smartphone brands are expected to launch new phones this month in the Chinese market. Vivo has just confirmed that it will hold a launch event on May 13 to unveil the Vivo X100 Ultra, X100s, and X100s Pro. The Realme GT Neo 6, Meizu 21 Note, Oppo Reno 12 series, and Honor 200 lineup are also said to launch this month in China. A Chinese tech blogger has claimed that the Reno 12 series and Honor 200 lineup will be unveiled by the end of this month.

Reno 12 series, Honor 200 lineup launch timeframe (rumored)

Last year, on Nov. 23, both the Oppo Reno 11 series and the Honor 100 lineup made their debut simultaneously in China. This month, it is anticipated that their successor editions will also be introduced in close proximity to each other.

As can be seen in the above screengrab, the Reno 12 lineup will debut first, and the Honor 200 series in less than a week soon after. Unfortunately, the leaker did not mention the exact launch dates for these phones. 

Reports suggest that the Dimensity 8200 or 8300 chipset will power the Reno 12, while the more potent Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset may power the Reno 12 Pro. On the other hand, the Honor 200 will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip onboard, whereas its Pro version may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The 3C certifications of both Honor phones have revealed that they may support 100W fast charging. However, the Reno 12 models haven’t yet been spotted on Chinese certification platforms. Nevertheless, the rumor mill claimed that other devices, such as the Oppo Pad 3, Enco R3, and Enco X3, may also debut along with the next-generation Reno models.

Honor is reportedly working on the Honor Magic Flip (tentative name), a clamshell foldable phone, for the Chinese market. There is no official word on the launch timeframe for the device. However, a new leak, courtesy of a Chinese leaker, has revealed when the Magic Flip is expected to be released in the market.

According to the leaker, the Honor 200 series will launch first and after that, the brand will unveil its first-ever flip phone equipped with a foldable screen. A recent leak revealed a couple of upper mid-range phones, such as the Huawei Nova 13 series, the Reno 12 series, the Vivo S19 lineup, and the Honor 200 series will debut in June in China.

Unfortunately, the new leak has not revealed anything about the specifications of the Honor 200 series and the Magic Flip. So far, reports have revealed a few details of the flip phone. A mock render based on rumors surrounding the device.

It was revealed that the Honor Magic Flip will have a large external display like the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. It is expected to feature a dual camera system and a leather back. The device is expected to pack a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery.

A previous report claimed that the Magic Flip will make its debut by the end of Q2 this year. This suggests that the Honor 200 and Magic Flip could potentially launch in June. The digital series could be introduced first, with the flip potentially arriving in the latter part of June.

It appears that the company plans to release two more foldable phones in the second half of the year. These are likely to include the Magic V3 and the V Purse 2 as successors to last year’s Magic V2 and V Purse foldable phones.
