In December 2021, Honor announced the Honor Play 30 Plus 5G mid-range phone in China. Now, the company has unveiled a new phone called the Honor Play 30 5G in the homeland. The front side of the device features a teardrop notch display, and its rear shell has an iPhone-like camera module. Here is all the information on its specifications, features, and price.

The Honor Play 30 5G houses a 6.5-inch LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 269ppi pixel density. The display notch serves as a home for its 5-megapixel selfie camera. The rear shell of the device has a square-shaped camera module, which comprises a 13-megapixel camera and an LED flash in a diagonal design.

The Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset powers the Honor Play 30 5G. The device comes with 4 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. For more storage, it is equipped with a microSD card slot.

The handset is packed with a 5,000mAh battery, which unfortunately supports only 10W charging. It comes preinstalled with the Android 11 OS with Magic UI 5.0 on top. On the connectivity front, the device offers dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Honor Play 30 5G price and availability

The Honor Play 30 5G is now available for reservations in China. The company is yet to confirm its price tag. There is no word on the availability of the device. The device will be available in as many as four colors such as black, blue, gold, and white.
