Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro are two closely related devices launched together, yet they cater to different types of users. With overlapping features but significant differences in performance, camera, and charging, choosing the right one isn’t straightforward. This comparison is important because it highlights whether the Pro model’s higher price brings meaningful advantages, or if the standard Honor 400 is already good enough for most users.

Design and Display

Honor 400

Build and Feel:
Honor 400 offers a slim profile with a refined body and IP65/IP66 protection depending on the region, making it resistant to dust and water sprays. In contrast, the Honor 400 Pro is more robust with IP68/IP69 certification, ensuring protection even against submersion and high-pressure water jets. The Pro’s slightly thicker build adds durability but also makes it heavier. Users prioritizing sleekness and lightness may prefer the standard 400, but for rugged use or better ingress protection, the 400 Pro leads. The added water resistance in the Pro version makes it more suitable for harsh environments or outdoor use.

Display Quality:
Both models use a 120Hz AMOLED panel with 1B colors and an impressive 5000 nits peak brightness, ensuring vivid colors and excellent readability under sunlight. The Honor 400 Pro steps up with a slightly larger 6.7-inch panel and higher resolution (1280 x 2800) compared to the 6.55-inch 1264 x 2736 screen on the Honor 400. Moreover, the Pro supports HDR Vivid, a more advanced high-dynamic range standard, enhancing contrast and color depth during media playback. The Pro offers a more immersive viewing experience with richer visuals, especially suited for multimedia enthusiasts.

Verdict:
Honor 400 Pro wins in build quality and display due to superior water resistance and enhanced HDR visuals, though the Honor 400 remains a good choice for users wanting a lighter and more compact device.

Specifications

Honor 400 Pro

Performance:
Honor 400 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a capable upper-midrange chipset suitable for daily tasks and light gaming. However, the Honor 400 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a flagship SoC with significant gains in CPU and GPU performance. It brings faster app launches, better multitasking, and superior gaming capabilities. The Pro is ideal for power users and gamers, offering performance levels closer to top-tier flagship phones. Its edge in AI processing and thermal efficiency also future-proofs the device better for intensive apps and long-term usage.

Battery and Charging:
Both phones offer two battery configurations: 5300 mAh for Europe and 6000 mAh for other regions. However, charging speeds differ dramatically. The Honor 400 tops at 80W wired, while the 400 Pro supports up to 100W wired charging, reaching 100% in just 39 minutes. It also adds 50W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, features entirely missing in the base model. The Honor 400 Pro offers significantly more versatility in how users charge their devices, especially for those who value wireless convenience and quicker top-ups.

Verdict:
Honor 400 Pro clearly leads in both performance and battery technology, offering flagship-grade processing and charging speeds, making it a better choice for demanding users.

Camera

Honor 400 Pro

Main and Secondary Lenses:
Both phones feature a 200MP primary sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide, ensuring sharp detail and good field coverage. However, the Pro introduces a third sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. This drastically improves portrait and zoom photography, providing more flexibility in capturing distant subjects with clarity. The extra lens on the Pro model adds true flagship versatility, making it more suitable for mobile photography enthusiasts who value zoom capabilities.

Selfie Camera:
Honor 400 offers a 50MP front camera capable of detailed selfies and 4K video. The 400 Pro upgrades this setup with an additional 2MP depth sensor, allowing for improved edge detection in portrait mode. While the sensor itself is modest, it enhances the overall selfie experience, particularly for users who frequently use portrait effects in social media. Both phones support 4K selfie video, but the Pro’s dual-lens setup slightly edges out in quality and refinement.

Verdict:
Honor 400 Pro takes the lead with a superior triple-lens rear camera system and an enhanced selfie setup, offering more shooting flexibility and refined results for photos and video.

Pricing

Honor 400

Honor 400 is priced around $830, offering strong performance and high-end cameras in the upper-midrange category. The Honor 400 Pro is priced at approximately $1230, a significant $400 increase. However, this premium includes flagship performance, a third telephoto camera, wireless charging, and higher water resistance. The price jump may feel steep for casual users, but those seeking a full-featured premium phone will find the Pro’s added capabilities justify the extra cost. For budget-conscious users, the Honor 400 still delivers excellent value without many major sacrifices.

Conclusion

Honor 400 Pro

Honor 400 Pro distinguishes itself with wireless and reverse wireless charging, flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 performance, and IP69 water resistance, features typically reserved for ultra-premium models. The addition of a telephoto lens also enhances its camera system. In contrast, the standard Honor 400 is more about offering high-tier essentials, an excellent main camera, solid display, and dependable battery life, without pushing into flagship territory.

Verdict:
Honor 400 is ideal for users who want flagship-like features at a more accessible price. Honor 400 Pro, while considerably more expensive, justifies its premium with truly top-tier hardware, advanced camera versatility, and full charging options. Choose the Pro if performance, photography, and durability are top priorities; otherwise, the base Honor 400 offers great value for everyday use.

On May 22, Honor will unveil the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro for the global market. These devices will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively, and both will pack a 5,300mAh battery. Reports claim that the Honor 400 series will also hit the Chinese market on May 28. A recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, which carries a screenshot of the Honor 400’s About Phone page, reveals that the Chinese variant will pack a significantly larger battery than its global version.

Honor 400 series key specifications tipped

Honor 400 About Phone page

The above image reveals that the display of the Honor 400’s variant heading to China will support a 1.5K resolution of 2736 x 1264 pixels, a fourth-generation Snapdragon 7 series chipset, 12GB of RAM, 12GB of virtual RAM, and a massive 7,200mAh battery. In comparison, the global version is said to pack a 5,300mAh battery, which is still 100mAh bigger than the Honor 200’s battery. For those who don’t know, the Honor 300 series was unveiled in December 2024, but it did not launch globally.

DCS claims that the Honor 400 and 400 Pro are both equipped with a 6.55-inch flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution. Both devices are also backed by the same 7,200mAh battery.

The Honor 400’s Chinese edition will break cover as the world’s first Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. In comparison, the global version has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.
On the other hand, the Honor 400 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip onboard. Its global version also features the same chipset. The series will run on Magic OS 9 based on Android 15.

Honor 400 series

Speculations are rife that the Honor 400 may feature a 200-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system. On the other hand, the 400 Pro may feature a 200-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera system.

HONOR will launch its HONOR 400 Series globally on May 22, 2025. Ahead of the launch, the company confirmed a new feature called “AI Image to Video,” which was developed in partnership with Google Cloud.

This feature lets users turn static images into short, 5-second videos or animated photos. It works with real photos, old pictures, and AI-generated images. The tool is built into the phone’s photo gallery, so users won’t need third-party apps. The videos can be easily shared on social media and are supported on both Android and iOS platforms.

HONOR says the 400 Series is aimed at users looking for strong AI camera features in an affordable smartphone. The image-to-video feature is a major part of its AI tools, giving users more control over photo editing and content creation directly from their device.

The phones are expected to offer AI tools that are usually found in more expensive models, helping HONOR compete in the mid-range segment. The company is focusing on ease of use and creative features for people who want to make videos out of still images quickly.

The HONOR 400 Series launch event will be held in London at 4:00 PM BST (8:30 PM IST) and will be livestreamed. Pre-registrations for the phones are already open in the UK. Specifications, while not officially confirmed, have leaked online.

The HONOR 400 is expected to feature a 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness.
Honor recently confirmed May 22, 2025, to be the launch date for the global launch of its mid-range Honor 400 series smartphones. The series will include two models, the vanilla Honor 400 and the Honor 400 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the brand has released a new teaser video, confirming a key feature of the Honor 400 Pro.

As per the teaser video, the 400 Series models will feature a 200MP AI camera, which will likely be a major upgrade over the 50MP primary camera present on its predecessors. A previous teaser revealed the complete back design of both models, revealing two cameras for the vanilla model and a triple camera setup for the Pro model.

Other specifications have yet to be confirmed, however, leaks have claimed that the Honor 400 will come with a 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. It is said to run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB. Its camera setup includes a 200MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP front camera. The phone is backed by a 5,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging and is expected to retail at €499.

The 400 Pro model, on the other hand, will feature a larger 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It could come with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The rear camera system features a 200MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide. A 50MP selfie camera with a depth sensor completes the setup. It also includes IP68/IP69 protection, a 5,300mAh battery, and supports 100W fast charging. The Pro model is expected to be priced near the €799 mark.

Smartphone brands often take swings at one another at any chance they get. In the past, Samsung has made fun of Apple, but this time around, it is on the receiving end. The latest teaser of the Honor 400 series takes a subtle jab at the South Korean tech giant and one of its latest mid range smartphones.

Honor 400 Series Teaser Pokes at Samsung

The Chinese brand recently announced the launch date for the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro. These two mid range devices are set to debut in Malaysia on 22nd May 2025. But in another teaser shared on X, Honor shared a promo image poster that included a chance to win a new Honor 400 smartphone. This picture included a message saying “Not the Same” but had the “Sam” highlighted in blue letters.

Honor 400 (Left) and Honor 400 Pro (Right)

So it is clearly referencing the rival smartphone maker Samsung. The upcoming Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro are upper mid range devices. In other words, the duo will likely rival Samsung’s new Galaxy A56. This could be Honor making fun of Samsung once again. Around the time of the Honor Magic V3 release, the Chinese company made a ‘Fat’ jab at Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Magic V3 was noticeably slimmer than the Z Fold 6, so the latest teaser is likely another swipe at the South Korean brand. For those interested, we also covered a detailed rumor roundup of the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro that talks about its specs, features, design, and cameras. We will be covering the launch event later this month, so stick around for more.

Packed with 200MP cameras, Snapdragon chips, and fast charging, these devices are expected to hit the mid-range and premium markets with rumored price tags of €499 and €799, respectively.

After days of teasers hinting at a Malaysia debut, Honor confirmed the Honor 400 series launch date via a post on X, spotlighting “Next-Gen AI Imaging”. The event’s exact location is still under wraps, but more details should drop soon. The Honor 400 series, following the China-exclusive 300 series, marks a global push, with the 400 Lite already out in Austria.

Rumored specifications of the Honor 400 and 400 Pro:

The Honor 400 sports a 6.55-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with 5,000 nits brightness, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, 8GB RAM, and 256/512GB storage. There’s a 200MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 50MP selfie cam pair with a 5,300mAh battery supporting 66W charging. Priced at €499, it’s a strong mid-range contender.

The Honor 400 Pro steps up with a 6.7-inch 1.5K display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Its camera array includes a 200MP main with OIS, 50MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie with a depth sensor. A 5,300mAh battery with 100W charging and IP68/IP69 ratings rounds it out, priced at €799.

Both models, running MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, are expected to launch in Europe and India by June. While leaked renders point to a switch to a flat design, many of the internals—including the chipset and battery—seem to be carried over from their predecessors. Although we can’t directly compare the leaked European pricing with the Chinese pricing of the Honor 300 series, we can certainly keep an eye on the teasers as we approach the May 22 launch.

The Honor 400 lineup is set to debut soon, with the brand already building up hype for the Malaysian launch. While an exact launch date is still unclear, the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro will likely be announced later this month. So ahead of its official launch, here’s a roundup for its specs, features, design, and more.

Design & Display

The Honor 400 series is the direct successor to the Honor 300 lineup. With the newer models, the Chinese brand is bringing a slight redesign to the rear, particularly the camera module. The large camera island retains the same shape but has an aesthetic that matches the iPhone 16 Pro, namely with a transparent module with the image sensors. In terms of dimensions, the Honor 400 is rumored to have a slim 7.3mm body, while the 400 Pro may measure slightly thicker at 8.1mm.

For protection, the vanilla version may offer an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance but the Honor 400 Pro could have a stronger IP68 + IP69 rating. The base model is expected to weigh 184 grams and the Pro variant could be a hefty 205 gram phone.

Honor 400 Pro

On the front, the base Honor 400 is expected to sport a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits of peak brightness. The higher end Pro variant is expected to feature a taller 6,7-inch quad curved AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5000 nits of peak brightness as well.

Performance

The Honor 400 is positioned as an upper mid range, while the Honor 400 Pro is an affordable flagship phone. This is quite evident with the different Qualcomm processor that powers these devices. Under the hood, the standard model is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

Honor 400

On the other hand, the Honor 400 Pro packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that is coupled with 12GB of RAM. Both models are powered by a massive 5,300mAh battery pack. However, they offer different fast charging rates as the Honor 400 Pro has a faster 100W wired charging, while the base model only offers 66W charging.

Camera

For photography, the more expensive Honor 400 Pro packs a triple camera setup on the rear that consists of a 200MP main + 50MP telephoto + 12MP ultra wide angle lens. The front may feature a 50MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Unfortunately, the standard version is skipping the telephoto sensor, offering the 200MP + 12MP camera setup on the rear. For selfies and video calls, the 50MP sensor makes a return here. The latest teaser also confirmed that the Honor 400 series will arrive with AI powered features for the cameras, which would likely include features like the AI Eraser.

Pricing & Launch Date

Unfortunately, Honor has yet to announce a launch date for the Honor 400 series, although it could debut later this month. The pricing info for the Pro variant is still at large, but the base Honor 400 had its European pricing leaked. The 8GB + 512GB configuration could be sold for €499.

Honor has begun building anticipation in Malaysia for its upcoming Honor 400 series. This new lineup is projected to consist of two smartphones, the Honor 400 and the Honor 400 Pro. These devices are poised to succeed the Honor 300 and 300 Pro models that were released last year. An official teaser released by Honor offers an initial look at the design of the camera module that will feature in the 400 series.

Honor 400 series teaser released

Honor 400 series teaser

The teaser image showcases the rear camera setup of an upcoming Honor smartphone, presumably part of the 400 series. The design features a triangular camera arrangement for three distinct camera lenses. Reports have claimed that the Honor 400 will feature a dual-camera setup, while the Pro edition will feature a triple camera unit.

The words “Next-Gen AI Imaging” are prominently displayed above the camera module, suggesting a strong emphasis on AI-powered photography features in the new series. The “Coming Soon” text positioned at the bottom strongly hints at a launch within May.

Honor 400, 400 Pro specifications (rumored)

According to reports, the Honor 400 is rumored to feature a 6.55-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5000 nits. It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB.

The camera system is said to include an OIS-enabled 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. The battery is expected to be 5,300mAh with 66W fast charging support. The phone is also rumored to have an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance and weigh around 184 grams with a thickness of 7.3mm. Color options might include Black and Gold/Grey.

The Honor 400 Pro is anticipated to sport a larger 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED 1.5K 120Hz display with a peak brightness of 5000 nits. It is tipped to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM. The rear camera setup is also expected to feature a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, along with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. The selfie camera is also rumored to be a 50-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity is expected to be 5300mAh, but with faster 100W wired fast charging support. The Honor 400 Pro might also feature an IP68/IP69 rating for enhanced water and dust resistance and weigh around 205 grams with a thickness of 8.1mm.

Honor is also expected to launch the Honor 400 series in China this month. It is speculated that the Honor 400 series launched in China could have some variations compared to the models arriving in the global market.

Honor 400 Pro on Geekbench 6.4.0

The Honor 400 Pro, model DNP-NX9, appears to power a downclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, scoring 2089 single-core and 6032 multi-core points. It’s the same chipset that powered the Honor 300 Pro. Honor 400 Pro’s downclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features the following CPU setup:

1×3.05GHz Cortex-X4

5×2.96GHz Cortex-A720

2×2.04GHz Cortex-A520

This is nearly identical to the Honor 300 Pro’s 3.0GHz/2.95GHz/2.0GHz config. For reference, here are the clock speeds of the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the Xiaomi 15:

1×3.3 GHz Cortex-X4

3×3.2 GHz Cortex-A720 & 2×3.0 GHz Cortex-A720

2×2.3 GHz Cortex-A520

This tweak, likely for thermal efficiency, still delivers solid performance for a mid-range, trailing the standard 8 Gen 3’s 2193/7300 Geekbench scores, per NanoReview. Paired with 12-16GB RAM and Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0, it’s poised for multitasking.

The Honor 400 series, including models DNN-AN00 and DNP-AN00, cleared China’s 3C certification with 80W and 90W charging. Camera-wise, the 400 Pro upgrades to a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP 3x telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide, outshining the 300 Pro’s 50MP main, though telephoto details remain murky. Its rumored 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED with 120Hz and 5,000 nits (peak), plus a 7,000mAh battery, screams premium,

Launching in April 2025 in China, the 400 Pro targets the upper mid-range. The downclocked chip possibly balances power and heat. Will its camera and battery steal the show against rivals like the Poco F7 Pro? We’ll find out soon.

Two Honor phones with model numbers DNN-AN00 and DNP-AN00 have received approval from China’s 3C authority. It is believed that the DNN-AN00 could be the Honor 400 and it may ship with an 80W charger.

On the other hand, the DNP-AN00 handset could be the Honor 400 Pro. Its 3C certification suggests that it may support 90W charging.

The standard model is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 or Gen 4 chip, and the Pro variant by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Both will offer a powerful 200-megapixel main camera with a large sensor, and the Honor 400 Pro will include an additional 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

Both phones will come with a metal frame, new-generation silicon-based batteries (likely in the 7,000mAh class), and promise a slim, lightweight build with a generously sized battery.

These are said to be the Honor 400 and 400 Pro smartphones, respectively.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has previously revealed that the Honor 400 will have a 6.55-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7550) chipset. On the other hand, the Honor 400 Pro will have a larger 6.69-inch OLED panel that produces a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Honor 400 lineup may also include the Honor 400 Ultra model. However, there is no information about its existence.

Recent reports surrounding the global versions of the Honor 400 series have claimed that the 400 will have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and the Pro edition will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Camera-wise, the standard model is expected to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel front camera. On the other hand, the 400 Pro is said to have the same set of cameras as the standard, including an additional 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

The Honor 400 and 400 Pro may pack a 5,300mAh battery. While the standard model will feature 66W charging, the Pro edition may support 100W charging. In Europe, the Honor 400 is likely to be priced at 468 euros.

It is expected to sport a smaller 6.69-inch 1.5K OLED 120Hz curved screen, down from the 300 Pro’s 6.78-inch FHD+ panel. No details were disclosed about an Ultra variant, however, rumors suggest that it could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Earlier leaks from DCS indicated that the entire lineup would feature larger camera sensors for enhanced photography. While specific camera details remain unknown, previous reports suggest that all models will include a battery exceeding 7,000 mAh and a metal frame for added durability. A recent report revealed that an engineering prototype equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and a 1.5K resolution LTPS display houses a substantial 7,800 mAh battery. These specifications align with the HONOR 400 Pro.

Honor is reportedly developing a GT Pro model, expected to launch by mid-2025. Leaks suggest it will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This device will reportedly come with a flat display and a much larger battery compared to the 5,300 mAh battery on the current Honor GT. 100W fast charging is also expected to be provided.

In a previous leak, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station revealed the display specifications of the alleged Honor 400 and 400 Pro smartphones. Today, the tipster is back with a new leak about an Honor phone. While he has not specified the name of the device, it could be referring to the Honor 400 Pro.

Purported Honor 400 Pro’s chipset, battery size tipped

DCS’ previous leak about the Honor 400 series

DCS’ previous leak suggested that the Honor 400 series will have two models. One of them will feature a 6.5-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, whereas the larger model may arrive with a 6.78-inch quad-curved screen with ultra-thin bezels on all four sides. The leak also claimed that both phones would be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7550) chipset and pack a battery with around 7,000mAh capacity.

The latest leak (shown above) states that an Honor phone featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip will come with a 1.5K resolution LTPS panel. He added that the current engineering prototype of the device packs a 7,800mAh battery.

He further mentioned in the comments section of the same Weibo post that this leak is not about the Honor 400, as it is a compact, lightweight phone with a flat display—indirectly hinting that the above-mentioned phone has a larger display with a curved design.

While other details of the Honor 400 series are under wraps, it is expected to go official in China by May of this year. It is speculated that the 400 lineup will face competition from the Oppo Reno 14 series and the Vivo S21 series, which are expected to launch around the same time in China.

Honor is reportedly working on its next-generation Honor 400 series smartphones for China. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, key details regarding the chipsets powering these devices have surfaced online. The leak also sheds light on an upcoming Honor GT Pro model, which is likely to launch later this year.

Honor 400 series’ chipsets

Honor 400 series and GT Pro leak by DCS

As per the leak, the Honor 400 is expected to feature Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7750) chipset, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 used in its predecessor. Meanwhile, the Honor 400 Pro is likely to retain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650), similar to the Honor 300 Pro and 300 Ultra. There’s a possibility that the lineup may include the 400 Ultra powered by the same SD8G3 chip.

The leak also states that the entire lineup will come with larger camera sensors for improved photography. While the exact specifications of the cameras remain unknown, earlier leaks suggested that the series may house a 7,000mAh battery for extended battery life. The Honor 400 series is expected to debut in May 2025.

Honor GT Pro details emerge

Honor is also said to be working on a GT Pro model, expected to launch by mid-2025. According to the leak, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is anticipated to offer enhanced performance. Unlike the existing Honor GTh, which features a curved display, the GT Pro will reportedly sport a flat screen. Additionally, it is set to include a super-large battery, improving upon its predecessor’s 5,300mAh capacity with 100W fast charging.

With these details now surfacing, more information about the Honor 400 series and the GT Pro is likely to emerge in the coming months. The official launch timeline and exact specifications should become clearer as we approach their expected release.

Honor is known for launching its number series of smartphones twice a year in China. In December 2024, the brand announced the Honor 300 lineup, which included the Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, and Honor 300 Ultra. Likely, the brand will unveil the Honor 400 series in the first half of this year. There’s a possibility that the upcoming Honor 400 Pro and 400 Ultra may feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chip.

A recent Geekbench listing revealed that the configuration of the Snapdragon 8s Elite chip is as follows: 1 core at 3.21GHz, 3 cores at 3.01GHz, 2 cores at 2.80GHz, and 2 cores at 2.02GHz, paired with the Adreno 825 GPU.
