<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/08/30/honor-50-arrives-in-new-code-color-variant-in-china/">Honor 50</a> was first announced for the Chinese market in July the year and only <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/19/honor-50-makes-its-global-debut-in-malaysia/">made its appearance in Malaysia last week</a>. The device arrives in Europe with a starting price tag of 529 Euros (~$614) for the base model with a staggering 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version comes in at 599 Euros (~$695).</p>
<p>Since Honor is an offshoot of Huawei, the most interesting detail on the models is the presence of Google Mobile Services on this version. It runs Android 11-based Magic UI 4.2.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-421435" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Honor 50 " width="1200" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/honor-50-1-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></a></p>
<p>In terms of specifications, the Honor 50 sports a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen which has support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The display comes with ultra-slim bezels on all sides giving it a high screen-to-body ratio. The premium mid-range smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/HONOR-50-features.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-421440" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/HONOR-50-features.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="754" height="362" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/HONOR-50-features.jpg 754w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/HONOR-50-features-300x144.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/HONOR-50-features-696x334.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 754px) 100vw, 754px" /></a></p>
