<p>Ever since becoming an independent brand, the company has been actively trying to regain the lost market share and expand its footprints. Now, at the sidelines of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor-60">Honor 60 series</a> launch, the company&#8217;s CEO <a href="https://news.mydrivers.com/1/799/799990.htm">shared some key details</a> related to the company.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-427463 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Honor 60 series hands-on" width="1625" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1.jpg 1625w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-300x199.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-768x510.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-696x463.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-1068x710.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-632x420.jpg 632w" sizes="(max-width: 1625px) 100vw, 1625px" /></p>
<p>Honor CEO <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/zhao-ming">Zhao Ming</a> has revealed that the company now has an offline presence in more than 30,000 locations, which includes official retail stores, special zones, counters, and authorized experience stores.</p>
<p>Not just that, he has also revealed that the company is getting almost 70 percent of its total sales from these offline stores. This is quite an interesting development given that Honor mostly positions its devices in the mid-range segment and it <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/02/george-zhao-honor-was-the-largest-online-brand-in-h1-2020-in-china/">was the leading company for online sales</a> in China under Huawei.</p>
<p>Zhao Ming has said that the company is now planning to increase the speed at which Honor retail stores are being built. In the month of October and November this year, the company added over 2,000 more offline stores to its tally and the number is still growing.</p>
<p>During its peak, Honor-branded smartphones accounted for about 16.7 percent of the market share in China. However, it fell to about 3 percent in the first quarter of 2021, just as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/17/huawei-sells-honor-subsidiary-to-zhixin-new-information-technology-co-ltd/">the company split from Huawei</a>.</p>
<p>But the company has rapidly regained the lost market share. The brand has now become a part of the top three smartphone manufacturers in China with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/market-share">market share</a> of 14.6 percent. Not just China, Honor has also resumed business operations in about 50 countries around the world and is now focusing on recovering the lost market share.</p>

It is rumored to have a 50-megapixel front-facing snapper.</span></p>
<p>In a recent teaser video, the company has confirmed that the phone <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/11/29/honor-60-series-camera-gestures-teaser/">will have support for camera gestures</a>, including support for high-fiving to capture images, waving, and making a fist, among others, giving users a more convenient option for capturing photos.</p>
<p>The phone is running the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-11">Android 11</a> operating system out-of-the-box with the company&#8217;s own MagicUI 5.0 on top. The device is powered by a 4,800mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. It measures 161.4×73.3×7.98mm and weighs 179 grams. The smartphone will come in three colors &#8212; Bright Black, Starry Sky Blue, and Jade Green.</p>
<p>Details about the Honor 60 Pro still remain under the wraps but the device is expected to have a similar display as the standard model and the same <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/108mp">108MP primary camera</a> sensor on the back panel. To more about this, we will have to wait for Honor to officially launch these new smartphones tomorrow in China.</p>

Ahead of the official launch, almost everything related to the phones has been leaked.</p>
<p>Now, just a couple of days ahead of the official announcement, the China-based brand has shared a new teaser video that showcases the phone&#8217;s camera module design and reveals some key features of the device.</p>
<div style="width: 696px;" class="wp-video"><!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('video');</script><![endif]-->
<video class="wp-video-shortcode" id="video-427897-1" width="696" height="392" preload="metadata" controls="controls"><source type="video/mp4" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-Series-Camera-Gesture-Teaser.mp4?_=1" /><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-Series-Camera-Gesture-Teaser.mp4">https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-Series-Camera-Gesture-Teaser.mp4</a></video></div>
<p>The video teaser reveals that the Honor 60 series will have an AI Super-Sensing camera lens on the front side which will have support for camera <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/gestures">gestures</a>. You will be able to take pictures by high-fiving the front camera. It also appears that flipping the palm changes the front camera to the rear camera.</p>
<p>There will be support for some additional gesture-based controls, including waving and making a fist, among others, giving you a more convenient option for capturing photos.</p>
<p>The teaser also shows the smartphone in all its glory, showcasing the four-side curved display on the device with narrow bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera right at the top-center position.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-427461 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3.jpg?x10805" alt="Honor 60 series hands-on" width="1624" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3.jpg 1624w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3-768x511.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3-696x463.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3-1068x710.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-3-632x420.jpg 632w" sizes="(max-width: 1624px) 100vw, 1624px" /></p>
<p>It carries forward the ring design for the camera module that we saw in the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor-50">Honor 50 series</a> but this time, the company has doubled down with two ring designs for the camera. The teaser shows the &#8220;Starry Night&#8221; color option of the smartphone.</p>
<p>As for the specifications, based on the leaks so far, the Honor 60 and 60 Pro will come with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amoled">AMOLED display</a> with Full HD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phones are likely to come powered by the Qualcomm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/26/qualcomm-unveils-snapdragon-778g-plus-snapdragon-695-snapdragon-480-plus-5g-and-snapdragon-680-4g/">Snapdragon 778G Plus</a> chipset.</p>
<p>For photography, the devices are expected to arrive with a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a 108-megapixel main camera on the back. Running <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android">Android</a> operating system with a custom UI, both phones will come with support for 66W fast charging.</p>

<p>The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro are both equipped with curved edge displays. Now, the company has shared another teaser which showcases the device in all of its glory.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-426940 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s_01ececd7180e48e48a5c2e25cb5ea441.png?x10805" alt="Honor" width="600" height="285" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s_01ececd7180e48e48a5c2e25cb5ea441.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s_01ececd7180e48e48a5c2e25cb5ea441-300x143.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The smartphone maker had recently shared a new teaser video on its official <a href="https://weibo.com/3206603957/L2W660Qwh?layerid=4706999860201889" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Weibo</a> account (a Chinese microblogging website). In this video, the company showcased the complete design of the Honor 60. It features a gradient blue rear panel that also houses starry sky elements, which is in line with the previous official teaser. Looking at the video, the device&#8217;s rear panel features a large oval shaped camera module on the top left corner that houses two large sized camera rings with what appears like a small camera as well.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-426941 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s_6ad67e3f04254fd28c9a690a9c25a97c.png?x10805" alt="Honor" width="600" height="392" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s_6ad67e3f04254fd28c9a690a9c25a97c.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s_6ad67e3f04254fd28c9a690a9c25a97c-300x196.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Notably, the rear panel also features a curve on the sides that should improve the grip on the device. Arriving at the front, the smartphone&#8217;s display feature curved edges on both sides, with the screen&#8217;s four corners also being rounded. Apart from the design being highlighted, the Chinese brand didn&#8217;t reveal any finer details regarding the upcoming smartphone. The Honor 60 is set to launch on 1st of December 2021, so stay tuned for more updates as we will be covering the launch event and any other teaser that is shared prior to the launch event.</p>

Ahead of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer has released a poster to showcase its rear design.</p>
<p>In the poster, Chinese model and actor, Gong Jun can be seen endorsing the Honor 60. The gradient blue rear shell of the device is flanked with starry sky elements. At its top-left corner is an oval-shaped camera housing that houses two large-sized camera rings with what appears like a small camera in between. Hence, it appears that the device could be equipped with a triple camera unit, which is accompanied by an LED flash unit.</p>

<p>Honor is yet to spill the specs of the Honor 60 series. Reports surrounding the lineup have revealed that it will include three models such as Honor 60, Honor 60 Pro, and Honor 60 SE. It appears that these models will rival with the OPPO Reno 7, Reno7 Pro, and Reno7 SE that are scheduled to launch on Nov. 25 in China.</p>
<p>The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro are likely to arrive with support for 66W fast charging. On the other hand, the Honor 60 SE could be equipped with 40W fast charging. Hopefully, newer reports will spill more information on the Honor 60 lineup before its official announcement.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/11/08/honor-x30-could-be-the-first-snapdragon-695-phone/">In related news</a>, Honor is reportedly working on the Honor X30 smartphone. It is speculated to arrive with specs like a punch-hole display, Snapdragon 695 chip, and a 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The company is also rumored to launch <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/11/19/honor-two-foldable-smartphones-launch-timeline/">two foldable phones in Q1 2022</a>.</p>

The company will be unleashing the Honor 60 lineup at 7:30 PM (local time) on Dec. 1 in China.</p>
<p>The video teaser released by the brand shows that the Honor 60 series’ color scheme will have starry sky elements.  A <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/11/15/honor-60-series-likely-to-launch-in-december/">previously seen promo image</a> revealed that the Honor 60 will feature dual camera rings like the Honor 50 lineup.</p>
<div style="width: 696px;" class="wp-video"><video class="wp-video-shortcode" id="video-426400-2" width="696" height="392" preload="metadata" controls="controls"><source type="video/mp4" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s569TOgggx07RAniCu1a01041200gTxQ0E010.mp4?_=2" /><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s569TOgggx07RAniCu1a01041200gTxQ0E010.mp4">https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/s569TOgggx07RAniCu1a01041200gTxQ0E010.mp4</a></video></div>
<p>The Honor 50 series, which debuted in June in China,  included three models such as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-50">Honor 50</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-50-pro">Honor 50 Pro</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-50-se">Honor 50 SE</a>. Rumors have it that these models will be succeeded by the Honor 60, Honor 60 Pro, and Honor 60 SE. The Chinese manufacturer is yet to share the specs of these phones. It appears that the Honor 60 trio will rival the OPPO Reno7, Reno7 Pro, and Reno7 SE that are scheduled to go official on Nov. 25.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-425128" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series.jpg?x10805" alt="Honor 60 series" width="2000" height="1125" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series.jpg 2000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></p>
<p>Not much is known about the specs of the Honor 60 models. The vanilla and Pro models are likely to carry support for 66W fast charging, whereas the SE variant may come with 40W charging. Several Honor phones with model numbers such as GIA-AN00, ELZ-AN00, TNA-AN00, ANY-AN00, and LSA-AN00 have been spotted at 3C. It is likely that two of these devices may debut in the Chinese market as the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro.</p>
<p>To recollect, the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro were driven by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-778G">Snapdragon 778G</a> SoC. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-900">Dimensity 900</a> chip powered the Honor 50 SE. It is likely that the company may offer improved chipsets on the Honor 60, 60 Pro, and 60 SE.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-426155 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Screenshot-169-e1637323004834.png?x10805" alt="Honor" width="628" height="310" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Screenshot-169-e1637323004834.png 628w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Screenshot-169-e1637323004834-300x148.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Screenshot-169-e1637323004834-324x160.png 324w" sizes="(max-width: 628px) 100vw, 628px" /></p>
<p>The senior official shared the news of his official Weibo account, a Chinese microblogging website. In the social media post, the executive teased the smartphone with a series of images that showcased the night sky filled with stars. The upcoming device is likely the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor-60/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Honor 60 series</a>. This is in line with our previous report of the company planning on launching the Honor 60 series near the end of this year.</p>
<p>The leak we had reported on even shared a teaser image that depicted the outline of the smartphone and the same starry background. So, the Weibo post from Harrison basically confirms the announcement of the Honor 60 series on November 22. Unfortunately, the official did not reveal any finer details regarding this device. Although, the earlier report stated that the company will be working on three models, namely, a base, a Pro, and an SE variant.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-425128 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series.jpg?x10805" alt="Honor 60 series" width="2000" height="1125" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series.jpg 2000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></p>
<p>Furthermore, the tipster also added that the vanilla version and the Pro model will arrive with 66W fast charging. On the other hand, the SE will only support up to 40W fast charging. Keep in mind, the Chinese smartphone maker has yet to officially announce the 60 series as of right now. So stay tuned for more updates.</p>

Recent reports have claimed that the Chinese manufacturer is working on the Honor 60 lineup. Chinese tipster WHY LAB has <a href="https://weibo.com/2430711645/L1yYDg7xF">claimed</a> that the company will announce the Honor 60 series in December.</p>
<p>The below-shown image shared by the tipster gives a look at the rear design of the Honor 60 series. It appears that it will continue dual-camera rings like the Honor 50 trio. It is speculated that the series will include the Honor 60, Honor 60 Pro, and Honor 60 SE.</p>
<p>The tipster claimed that the vanilla and the Pro model will carry support for 66W fast charging. On the other hand, the SE model will support only 40W charging.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-425128" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series.jpg?x10805" alt="Honor 60 series" width="2000" height="1125" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series.jpg 2000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></p>
<p>There are a couple of Honor phones that have been spotted at China’s 3C certification platform with support for 66W fast charging. These include GIA-AN00, ELZ-AN00, TNA-AN00, ANY-AN00, and LSA-AN00. It is likely two of these devices could be the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro handsets.</p>
<p>There is no information on the other specifications of the Honor 60 trio. To recollect, the Honor 50 and 50 Pro were fueled by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-778G">Snapdragon 778G</a> chipset, whereas the 50 SE was driven by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-900">Dimensity 900</a> chipset. Hopefully, the Honor 60 will come equipped with an improved chipset and cameras.</p>
<p>Honor is yet to confirm the arrival of the Honor 60 series. With the lineup expected to debut in December, the company release some teasers by the end of this month in China.</p>
