Today is a special day for any Mobile Geek, as many new devices are scheduled for launch. All around the world, new devices are set to launch with some new technologies and advancements. Nubia Z18, Honor 8X, Redmi 6 (India) all are launching on September 5th (Today). You can check the live stream and all the related information and announcements over here. Nubia is launching the Nubia Z18 at an event in Beijing, while Honor 8X is scheduled for launch in China along with Redmi 6 set for launch in India.

Nubia Z18 Specs and Live Streaming Details

Launch Information: As we reported couple of days ago, the Nubia Z18 is launching today at an event in Beijing, China. The launch will take place at 2:30 Beijing Time (GMT +8:30 / IST 11:00 AM). Users can watch the live streaming over at the official portal.

Specs: Nubia Z18 has been leaked from a long time and most of the details about the device are now live. It is expected to carry Snapdragon 845 on board with famous Waterdrop Notch. Nubia Z18 packs 5.99 inch of Bezelless 18:9 display and  64/128 GB of UFS 2.1 flash memory with 3350 mAh of Battery. It is expected to have dual 24+8 MP camera on the backside and 8 MP on the front.

It is expected to arrive in two different color variants, Red and Black. Nubia Z18 Van Gogh special edition will also be making debut at its launch.

Honor 8X Launch Live Streaming and specs

Launch Information: Honor 8X along with 8X max  will be unveiled today at an event in China at 7:00 PM beijing Time (GT +7:00/ IST 4:30 PM). Honor Band 4 is also launching today.  Users can watch here the live streaming of Honor 8X launching event.

Specs: Honor 8X will come powered with a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which can be Snapdragon 660 with 4/6 GB of RAM. Honor 8X also packs Waterdrop Notch with above 90% Screen-To-Body Ratio. There will be two different storage variants, 64 GB and 128 GB with 4 GB and 6GB RAM respectively. There will be a dual camera having 20MP+2MP shooter on the back and 16 MP front camera for selfies. In the connectivity department,Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, WiFi, WiFi Direct and LTE will be available. It will have Fingerprint camera on the backside and will run on Android 8.1 Oreo.  Honor 8X Max carry same specs but with the bigger display and 16MP+2MP dual camera setup. You can have a look at the camera shots which were leaked few days ago.

Honor 8X will arrive in four different colors like Black, Red, Blue and Light purple. On the Other hand, 8X Max will come with Enchanting Red, Enchanting Blue and Magic Night Black color variants. It will be priced more than $300 in China.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 (India) Series launch Live Streaming and Specs

Launch Information: Xiaomi is all set to launch at 12:00 PM just after the Poco F1 Flash sale in India. Users can watch the livestream at the Mi Website with the live streaming starting at 12:30 PM IST (6:50 GMT/2:30 PM Beijing Time) .

Specs: As far as the specs are concerned, Xiaomi Redmi 6 series runs on MIUI 9 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Inside, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 is powered by an octa-core 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 SoC having 3/4 GB RAM options.

Redmi 6A  is the entry level device with 3 GB RAM only other specs are same as above.

Redmi 6 is a mid range device with 3GB RAM clocked to both 32GB and 64GB variants. IT will be available in colors like Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold.

Redmi 6 Pro is the most powerful device in the Redmi 6 series. It will have 3/4 GB of RAM and a dual camera setup, 12+5 MP camera on the backside and 5MP camera on the front. It’s display measures 5.45 inch with a display resolution of 720×1440 pixels. It will be available in two different variants 32GB/64GB internal storage.  The Redmi 6 measures in at 147.5×71.5×8.3mm, and weighs 146 grams. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Pricing of Redmi  6 , 6A and 6 Pro will be between 549 Yuan ($80/INR 5,756) to 1,249 Yuan ($183/INR12999). Let’s keep an eye at the launch which is scheduled for September 5th. The device will be exclusively available via Flipkart.

Huawei’s Honor brand had confirmed the existence of the Honor 8X via a leaked teaser poster which was spotted online recently. Recall that the Honor 8X retail box was also leaked online last week. The Chinese brand has now shared another poster which confirms the launch date for the model. According to the poster, Huawei isn’t just launching the Honor 8X but will also unveil an Honor 8X Max. Both models will be launched on September 5.

The Honor 8X was benchmarked on GeekBench recently pointing at the presence of a Kirin 710 chipset but Master Lu benchmark did indicate that the device packs a Snapdragon 660 chipset. The device is said to bring flagship features such as AI super night mode, elevator mode and GPU Turbo technology while sporting an affordable price tag. The Honor 8X and 8X Max may likely differ only in their display sizes while the specifications are expected to be the same.

 The Honor 8X is equipped with a screen resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels. That means it will deliver an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The device measures 177.57 x 86.24 x 8.13mm and it weighs 210 grams. With a 7.12-inch display, we may be looking at the 8X Max. The 8X should be smaller than that screen size.  The 8X Max is also listed to pack a 4,900mAh battery while its 3C certification shows the presence of the 18W fast charger. Further, the models will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB as well as 128GB of internal storage. The back panel features a primary camera of 16-megapixel that is assisted by a secondary 2-megapixel sensor. The 8X model will come pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8 custom skin.
