It has a flagship-grade camera system with a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 64MP Periscope Telephoto Camera WITH 3.5X Optical zoom, and EIS+OIS stabilization. The front of the device uses a 12MP wide camera along with a 3D depth camera, enabling facial recognition features. There is also a self-developed Honor Image Engine chip packed inside this device for a better imaging experience. The Honor Magic4 Pro is available for £700 on Amazon UK, which is £170 less than its usual price.

Honor Pad 8

If you are in the market for an affordable tablet, Honor provides a decent option with the Honor Pad 8. This 12-inch slate has a 2,000 x 1,200-pixel IPS LCD panel and a Snapdragon 680 chipset under the hood. It is certified with Widevine L1, meaning that Netflix and YouTube can play at 1080p. It also features a solid audio solution with an eight-speaker setup.

The Honor Pad 8 4GB + 128GB variant is currently selling for £250, £20 off its usual pricing.

Honor Earbuds 3 Pro with temperature monitoring, ANC launched in China for 899 yuan ($142)

Honor is unveiling its Earbuds 3 Pro headphones in its home market of China after announcing the revolutionary headphone back in February. The Honor Earbuds 3 Pro headset is being projected as a device with many firsts. The device is available for pre-ordering in China from March 17 while actual sales begin on March 25.

Honor Earbuds 3 Pro is the first coaxial dual-unit with a large amplitude moving coil and ceramic tweeter. It is also showcased as the first to garner an A-level high-end noise reduction certification. The Earbuds 3 Pro is the first earbuds to support body temperature measurement, with an impressive accuracy band of 0.3 degrees Celsius. To cap the list of firsts for the sleek earbud, it comes with 5C fast charging technology.

The earbud sports an exquisite and compact design and weighs about 5.1g. It is small and pebble-shaped. It offers a double vent hole front and rear acoustic cavity conduction design. The earphones are designed to effectively balance air and sound pressure for an optimized listening experience. It is compatible with iOS and Android devices including Honor and Samsung smartphones.

The AI credentials of the Earbuds 3 Pro are also impressive, as AI sound effect equalization and AI body temperature monitoring are possible. The fast charging technology means that the device can be fully charged in under 30 minutes. The battery and the charging case of the Earbuds 3 Pro combine to offer up to 24 hours of playback, although the battery life is reduced when using noise reduction.

The Honor Earbuds 3 Pro is priced at 899 yuan (~$142) in China, which as expected, is significantly lower than its price in Europe which is €199 (~$221). We expect that the impressive Honor earbuds will subsequently be available in other markets after its China unveiling.

Earlier today, Honor unveiled their latest flagship smartphones, the Honor Magic4 and the Magic4 Pro at the Mobile World Congress 2022. At this event, the company also launched its premium TWS earphones dubbed the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro. So let’s take a look at the specs and features of these earbuds.

Honor Earbuds 3 Pro specs and features

The Honor Earbuds 3 Pro feature a coaxial Dual-Driver design with an 11mm driver coupled with a high-resolution ceramic tweeter. The earbuds come with multiple attractive features like proximity discovery, dual device connectivity, temperature measurement, active noise reduction, audio passthrough, intelligent dynamic noise reduction, ear canal adaptive ANC, wear leakage compensation, in-call noise reduction, wear detection, low latency gaming, among others.

The earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity which offers 10 meters range. The Honor Earbuds 3 Pro features a 42 mAh inbuilt battery and the charging case comes with a 410 mAh battery. The TWS earbuds offer up to 6 hours of music playback on a single charge when active noise reduction is off. This can be extended to 24 hours with the charging case. With active noise reduction turned on, users can expect around 4 hours of playback on a single charge, and 16 hours with the charging case.

The Honor Earbuds 3 Pro can be charged through its USB-C port or wirelessly (2.5W). The Earbuds are claimed to offer a 2 hour playback time with just 5 minutes of charge time and take around 30 minutes to charge completely. The case on the other hand takes about an hour to charge completely.

Honor Earbuds 3 Pro price and availability

Honor has released this product at a price tag of €199, however, the release dates will vary depending on the country and region. Talking about the color options, the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro comes in grey, black and white color options.

Honor Earbuds 3 Pro confirmed to launch in China on February 28

Honor has already confirmed that the company will be hosting a launch event during Mobile World Congress, on 28th February and it has also been revealed that the Honor Magic4 series smartphones will be officially announced at the event.

Now, the company has shared on Weibo that the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro true wireless earphones will also get launched at the same event on 28th February.

Making the announcement about the product’s launch date, Honor has also teased that the earbuds will be the world’s first to come with a temperature sensor. It is also touted to have flagship quality sound and support for Active Noise Cancellation.

Currently, not much is known about the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro in terms of specifications and features, nor about its pricing and availability details. But the poster showcases its design, which looks quite similar to the Honor Earbuds 2 SE.

We expect the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro to come with some advanced features like low-latency mode, touch controls, multiple audio modes, smart wear detection, a long-lasting battery, and support for fast charging, among others.

It’s been a couple of years since Honor split from Huawei to become an independent company and the strategy seems to have paid off. The company is now ranking among the top two smartphone brands in China, capturing 16.7 percent of the Chinese smartphone market, with a 100 percent year-on-year growth.
