HTech is gearing up to unveil the new Honor X9b smartphone along with the Choice Watch and the Earbuds X5 in India. But recent certification sighting hints that an Earbuds X5 Pro is also set to launch in the region, while the next gen Earbuds X6 is nearing a global release as well.

Honor Earbuds X6 surfaces on SIRIM, Earbuds X5 Pro visits BIS

To recall, the Honor Earbuds X6 TWS were first unveiled in China back in November 2023. Now, the hearables have been spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform, carrying the model number PET-T10. In other words, the wireless earphones are set to launch in the global market soon. Based on the previous release, the Earbuds X6 features Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and houses a 10mm dynamic driver in its semi-in-ear design.

It supports Hi-Fi DSP decoding and comes with IP54 water and dust resistance. The earphones also offer up to 9 hours of battery life, which can be further expanded by another 40 hours with the charging case. Other notable features include AI call noise reduction, 3.8 grams earbuds, and a pebble shaped charging case.

Meanwhile, the Honor Earbuds X5 is set to launch in India on February 15. But a new Honor Earbuds X5 Pro model has surfaced on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). These earbuds were spotted carrying the BTV-ME10 model number. Unfortunately, finer details regarding this X5 Pro is still at large. So stick around for more updates.

A couple of weeks ago, Honor debuted the Earbuds X6 TWS in China alongside the launch of the Honor 100 series smartphones. These earbuds have now hit the Chinese store shelves.

The Honor Earbuds X6 TWS went up for pre-orders on November 23, coinciding with the release and pre-bookings of the 100 series smartphones. The earbuds became available for their first sale on December 1, 2023, at a reduced price of CNY 249 ($35). Currently, they are selling for CNY 299 ($42).

Offered in purple and white colors, the Honor Earbuds X6 features a pebbled round design for the charging compartment. The semi-in-ear design of each earpiece results in a weight of 3.8g per ear.

The Earbuds X6 boasts a 10mm dynamic driver featuring a polymer composite bowl-coated diaphragm. Certified by the China Electronic Audio Industry Association, they support Hi-Fi 5 DSP high-definition decoding.

Utilizing Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity, the earbuds incorporate AI call noise reduction and hold an IP54 dustproof and waterproof rating.

With a single battery life of 9 hours, the earphones can extend usage to 40 hours with the charging box. The official claim suggests a quick 10-minute charge allows for 3 hours of music playback.
