HONOR has launched the MagicBook Art 14 2025 laptop and the MagicPad 3 tablet for the global market. Both products were first introduced in China earlier this year and are now available in the UK and Europe.

The MagicBook Art 14 2025 is a lightweight laptop designed for professionals and creators. It weighs around 1 kg, is 1 cm thick, and uses a magnesium-titanium body for strength and style.

It has a 14.6-inch OLED Eye Comfort Touch Display with a 3.1K resolution (3120×2080), 3:2 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, 100% DCI-P3, and 1600 nits peak brightness. The display covers 97% of the front panel and is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free use. It also supports 10-point touch and dynamic dimming for eye comfort.

The laptop runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor with up to 16 cores (5.1GHz turbo), paired with an Intel Arc 140T GPU. It comes with 32GB LPDDR5x RAM (8400MT/s) and a 1TB SSD, running Windows 11 Home.

It has a 1080p magnetic flip camera that can be detached and used in dual directions. For audio, there are 6 speakers with DTS support, Magic Spatial Audio, and a 3-microphone array.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC in the touchpad, LINK Turbo X antennas (up to 450m), USB-C 3.2 Gen2, Thunderbolt 4, USB-A 3.2 Gen1, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm jack.

The keyboard is backlit with 1.5mm key travel, and the 120 cm² touchpad supports 9 gestures and pressure sensitivity. A fingerprint sensor is built in.

The 60Wh battery lasts about 10 hours, charges to 46% in 30 minutes, and fully charges in about 95 minutes.

HONOR MagicPad 3

The MagicPad3 is a thin tablet at 5.79 mm thickness and 595 g weight. It has a 13.3-inch LCD screen with 3.2K resolution (3200×2136), variable refresh rates from 30Hz to 165Hz, HDR10, up to 1000 nits brightness, and a 91% screen-to-body ratio.

It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm processor with an Adreno 750 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage, powered by MagicOS 9.0.1 based on Android 15.

For cameras, it has a 13MP rear camera (f/2.0, AF), a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4), and a 9MP front camera (f/2.2, FF).

It features 8 speakers with 3D Spatial Audio and 3 microphones. Connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C 3.2 Gen1.

The tablet has a 12,450mAh battery with 66W HONOR SuperCharge, offering long usage with fast charging support.

AI tools include AI Writing, AI Meeting, and AI Handwriting, along with Cross-OS WorkStation for file transfers between devices.

It comes with a 14.6-inch 3.1K OLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 3120×2080, a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.07 billion colors. The panel supports full DCI-P3 color gamut, 1600 nits peak brightness, and is factory-calibrated to a ΔE value under 0.5. The screen includes an eight-layer anti-reflective coating, 4320Hz PWM dimming, TÜV Rheinland and VICO A+ certifications, and an e-book mode to reduce blue light.

Honor will debut the MagicBook Art 14 laptop in the global market at IFA in early September. The company launched the MagicBook Art 14 in China back in July with an optional Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7. Now tipster says that the global launch will also include a Snapdragon-powered variant.

The news comes from Weibo tipster 旺仔百事通, who reveals that the global launch will not only include a new Classic Gray color option but also a model based on Windows-on-Arm, powered by a Snapdragon chip. Although, he didn’t reveal the exact model name of the chipset. Aside from the new Classic Gray option, the laptop is available in Green and White colors.

While the information noted above is still a rumor, the company previously confirmed that it will unveil a number of products at the IFA event in Berlin, including the recently released Honor Magic V3 foldable, the Honor MagicPad 2, and the MagicBook Art 14. The company will also hold an official keynote speech on September 6 at the event to explore the prospects of AIPC and edge AI technology in depth.

Notably the MagicBook Art 14 is going to be the company’s first Arm-based laptop. The Core Ultra powered version that is already available in China is only 1cm thick, and weighs only 1.03kg, but still packs a dual-fan cooling system.

According to the company, it still packs a dual-fan cooling system. Price and Availability

The MagicBook Art 14 comes in two color options: Sunrise Impression and Summer Olive. The price starts at 7,999 yuan ($1,105) for the variant with an Intel Core Ultra 5 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. There’s also a 32GB memory variant of the same configuration, which costs 8,499 yuan ($1,170).

The Core Ultra 7 model is available in a single 32GB/1TB configuration for 9,499 yuan (~$1,310). You can purchase the laptop from Honor’s official site in China.

Honor has officially confirmed that it will hold a launch event on July 12 in China. The event will see the arrival of multiple products, such as the Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 foldable phones, the MagicPad 2 tablet, and the MagicBook Air 14 laptop. Here is a look at what to expect from the upcoming Honor devices.

Honor Magic V3 specifications: What’s known so far?

Honor recently confirmed that the Honor Magic V3 will be thinner and lighter than the Magic V2 from last year. To recall, the Magic V2, which featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery, measures only 9.9mm in the folded state and weighs around 231 grams.

As per reports, the Magic V3 will have the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a bigger battery. It is also expected to support 5.5G cellular connectivity and two-way satellite communication. According to the device’s 3C certification, it may come with support for 66W fast charging. Unfortunately, the other details of the Magic V3 are under wraps.

Honor is yet to confirm the concrete details of Magic Vs 3, MagicPad 2, and MagicBook Art 14. It appears that, like the Magic Vs2, which debuted in October 2023, the Magic Vs3 will be an affordable offering. The predecessor model featured the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Hence, it is likely that the Magic Vs3 may pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. As far as MagicPad 2 is concerned, it will come equipped with AI defocus vision relief technology that reduces eye fatigue.

In related news, new Honor products are also expected to hit the Indian market soon. The Honor 200 and 200 Pro teasers have already started in the country, hinting that both devices may go official this month (July).
