Honor has unveiled three new MagicBook laptops in China. The Honor MagicBook V 14 2022 is coming as a new touchscreen laptop while the MagicBook X-series PCs run on the Alder Lake platform. The new products are targeted at the Chinese market and may not be available elsewhere. The launch of the models was done during Honor’s Autumn Event on September 15.

The Honor MagicBook V 14 2022 has a 2.5K 10-point touch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It lacks the option of an RTX 2050 graphics card but deploys the Iris Xe graphics. On the Independent Graphics Edition, the V 14 2022 adds a GeForce MX550 to augment the Iris Xe. The MagicBook V 14 2022 is powered by the Core i5-12500H or i7-12700H processors.

The MagicBook X 14 and X 16 2022 models come in a thin and light metal body design. They offer 16:10 aspect ratios with the X 14 having a 2.2K display. The MagicBook X 16 2022 on the other hand, has an FHD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The X 14 also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and both models incorporate eye care health features. They are both TUV Rheinland certified and have 60Wh batteries with 65W charging. The two MagicBook X-series models have the Core i5-12500H/ i5-1235U processors.

The standard MagicBook V 14 2022 (Core i5-12500H) is priced at 5,999 yuan (~$858) while the Independent Graphics Edition retails at 6,499 yuan (~$929). The Honor MagicBook X 14 and X 16 2022 start at 4,699 yuan (~$672). All three MagicBook laptops can be pre-ordered from the Honor China website.

Honor has been actively launching new smartphones and the company also has a lineup of laptops under the Magic branding which the brand keeps refreshing regularly.

The company has now introduced two new MagicBook laptops in China — Honor MagicBook X 14 2022 and Honor MagicBook X 15 2022. Honor has also started take pre-orders for the devices in China.

As the name itself indicates, the MagicBook X 14 2022 comes with a 14-inch display while the MagicBook X 15 features a 15-inch display. The IPS Full HD 1080p display offers 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and three-side narrow bezels.

Under the hood, the laptops come powered by the Intel 11th generation processor — Intel Core i5 and uses the onboard Intel Iris Xe graphics processor. The devices pack up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal SSD.

In the software department, the laptop is running the latest Windows 11 operating system from Microsoft. The company is saying that these laptops are made for “super productivity.” They weigh about 1.38 kilograms, making them lightweight and are around 15.9mm thin.

The Honor MagicBook X 14 2022 has a starting price of 3,999 yuan (~$621) for the configuration of Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. On the other hand, the MagicBook X 15 2022 with 8GB RAM is priced at 3,499 yuan (~$543) and the 16GB RAM model costs 4,099 yuan (~$635).
