Chinese company Honor has unveiled the Watch GS 3 with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display in India. The Honor Watch GS 3 features a slim, lightweight body and is priced at Rs. 12,999 (~$167). The smartwatch will be on sale from June 7 in India via Amazon.in.

The new Honor smartwatch in India comes with a decent specs sheet for its stated price. Its AMOLED screen has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels with a 3D curved glass. It has a RAM/ storage combination of 32MB/4GB and the watch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices (Android 6.0 and later, iOS 9.0 and later). The Watch GS 3 has a built-in microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calling. It is rated 5ATM water and dust resistance, while its battery can last up to 2 weeks.

The HONOR Watch GS 3 offers 100+ workout modes including 10 professional sports and 85 custom sports modes. Sensors available in the smartwatch include Accelerometer, Gyroscope, optical heart rate, ambient light, and air pressure. It also features blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring. The HONOR Watch GS3 weighs just 44g without the strap with dimensions 45.9×45.9×10.5mm. The new smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.0, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC, among others.

Black, blue, and classic gold colors of the HONOR Watch GS 3 will be available from June 7 on Amazon India. HONOR is offering some discounts to Bank of Baroda and Citi Bank card holders. This limited-period offer will see buyers getting a 9-month EMI subscription and a 10% instant discount.

Earlier today, at Mobile World Congress 2022 Honor launched the Magic4 flagship smartphones which grabbed everyone’s eyes, however, the company also launched the Honor Watch GS 3, a premium smartwatch with several features that ace in utility and performance. The watch which was earlier only available in China has now been launched in Europe.

The makers of Honor Watch GS 3 have gone for a classic timeless look that is sleek and classy. It is manufactured using 316L low-carbon stainless steel with a 3D curved glass and a graduated bezel. The watch weighs 44g and has a thickness of 10.5mm.

The watch comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a 326 PPI pixel density. The hardware of the watch consists of a 451 mAh battery that is said to bring up to 14 days of battery life on typical usage but when the GPS is turned on, it can last for 30 hours. Additionally, the watch comes with fast charging where a 5-minute charge can serve enough power back up for a day.

Another amazing feature of the watch is the 8-channel PPG module that it comes with. The module brings up to 97% minimum accuracy for heart rate tracking. It also supports 24/7 blood oxygen tracking as well as sleep monitoring with over 200 suggestions to improve your sleep.

The watch gets a dual-frequency positioning which supports the five major satellite constellations of GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and NAVIC. Additionally, users can avail themselves of the over 100 sports modes onboard, 10 of which are categorized as professional sports modes. It runs on LiteOS and is powered by an Apollo4 chipset with 4GB of storage onboard. There is support for AliPay in China, thanks to the NFC chip on board and some pre-installed apps. The watch comes with 5ATM water resistance.

The Honor Watch GS 3 comes in blue, black, and gold. with the former variant costing €229 and the latter two going for €249.

The silver and gold variant comes with Nappa leather straps while the Racing Pioneer edition has a durable rubber strap. The sliver and gold variants with Nappa leather straps will sell for 1,500 yuan (~$235) while the Racing Pioneer Edition comes in at 1,300 yuan (~$205).
