Honor’s Win series now has a third member. After launching the Honor Win and Win RT last year, the company has now introduced the new Honor Win Turbo in China, and like the rest of the lineup, battery is the main highlight here.

The Honor Win Turbo arrives with a massive 10,000mAh battery, like its other sibling. Honor says the phone can deliver more than 14 hours of gaming or over 22 hours of short video playback on a single charge. The company has paired the battery with 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging support.

Despite the large battery, the phone is still relatively slim at 7.98mm thick and weighs 216 grams.

Honor Win Turbo Specifications

The device comes with a 6.79-inch flat LTPS OLED display with a 2640 x 1200 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor is also advertising up to 8,000 nits peak brightness alongside 3840Hz PWM dimming and its Oasis eye protection technology.

Inside, the Win Turbo runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Configurations go up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

On the camera side, the phone includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a secondary 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

The design follows the same horizontal camera layout seen on earlier Win devices, although the camera arrangement itself has been slightly redesigned. One noticeable change this year is the absence of the cooling fan that shipped with the previous two Win series models.

Honor is also adding several extra features, including IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, dual stereo speakers, a Z-axis vibration motor, a C1+ RF enhancement chip, and second-generation Hongyan communication technology.

The Honor Win Turbo comes in three colors: Fast Gameplay, Win by Choice, and Blue Fearless.

Pricing starts at 3,299 yuan (around $486) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 12GB and 512GB version costs 3,599 yuan (around $530), while the top-end 16GB and 512GB variant is priced at 4,199 yuan (around $619).

Honor is set to launch the WIN Turbo in China on May 29, and the company has already been teasing several aspects of the phone over the past few days. In its latest teaser, Honor confirmed that the device packs a huge 10,000mAh battery, with some reports suggesting the actual rated capacity could be slightly higher at around 10,080mAh. Either way, it is an unusually large battery for a phone that still appears relatively normal in size and design.

Honor claims the WIN Turbo can handle over 14 hours of continuous gaming or more than 22 hours of short video playback. Marketing numbers are usually best taken with some caution, but realistically, this thing should still outlast most phones pretty comfortably.

Charging does not seem compromised either. The phone supports 80W wired fast charging and even 27W reverse charging, so it can double as a power bank for smaller devices if needed.

Unlike the more expensive WIN and WIN RT models, the Turbo version is apparently skipping the built-in cooling fan. Instead, Honor seems to be focusing more on battery life and everyday gaming rather than pushing fully flagship-level performance.

The phone is expected to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite chip, which should still be more than capable for gaming, multitasking, and general use. It is not aiming for premium territory, but that is probably the point here.

Other leaked specs include a flat 1.5K LTPS display, a metal frame, and a 50MP main camera with OIS. Storage options are rumored to go up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Honor is also preparing several color options, including black, white, and blue finishes.

Interestingly, the WIN Turbo reportedly shares its base platform with the Honor Power 2. The difference is that this model drops the active cooling hardware, which may help keep the overall cost lower and the body relatively slim and light despite the giant battery inside.

Most phones today are already good enough for a full day, so Honor seems to be targeting people who simply do not want to think about charging very often at all. If the pricing lands in the right place, the WIN Turbo could end up becoming one of the more interesting battery-focused phones this year.

Honor recently started teasing the Honor Win Turbo, and has officially confirmed today that the smartphone will launch in China on May 29.

Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims the phone will share several specifications with the Honor Power 2. 

As a result, unlike the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Win models, the Win Turbo is expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset. The phone could also arrive with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

On the front, the device is expected to feature a 1.5K LTPS flat display paired with a metal frame. It’s also rumored to include a 50MP primary camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), housed inside a horizontal matrix-style camera module.

However, the tipster notes that the Honor Win Turbo will not include a built-in cooling fan, unlike the original Win.

What may remain unchanged is the massive 10,000mAh battery. Honor hasn’t officially confirmed the battery capacity yet, but Win is more about big battery, so it’s safe to assume this. The device is also expected to support 80W fast charging.

For photography, the rumored setup includes a 50MP primary rear camera, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

With the official launch just days away, Honor likely won’t keep the remaining details under wraps for much longer.
