<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/honor/">Honor</a>’s X60 series is about to get a new sibling with the upcoming Honor X60 GT, set to join the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x60/">X60</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x60-pro/">X60 Pro</a> launched last October. Fresh leaks from a Chinese certification website have spilled some interesting details about this device, hinting at a beefy battery and solid performance. Let’s dive into what we know so far about this exciting addition.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="538" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-1024x538.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-682303" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-1024x538.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-300x158.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-768x403.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-696x365.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-1068x561.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-800x420.png 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Honor X60 GT (Image: Xpertpick)</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Packs a hefty 6,300 mAh battery</h2>

<p>Spotted on China’s device certification authority website, the Honor X60 GT is shaping up to be a strong contender in the mid-range market. The standout feature? A hefty battery with a rated capacity of 6,120 mAh, which should translate to a typical capacity of around 6,300 mAh—perfect for power users who need their phone to last an entire day despite heavy usage. Plus, it’s got 90W fast wired charging, so you won’t be stuck next to the wall adapter for long.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="121" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-battery-capacity-leaked.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-682301" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-battery-capacity-leaked.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-battery-capacity-leaked-300x35.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-battery-capacity-leaked-768x91.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Honor-X60-GT-battery-capacity-leaked-696x82.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Under the hood, the X60 GT is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. While it’s not the latest chip, it’s still a heavy performer when it comes to gaming, multitasking, and pretty much anything you can expect from a mid-range. Paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, this phone should handle all the regular use cases with ease. Sadly, other specs like the display or camera setup are still under wraps.</p>

<p>The X60 GT is rumored to debut alongside the Honor GT Pro and Honor Tablet GT on April 23. With Honor’s track record, this could be a budget-friendly gem with some flagship level features.</p>

<p>For context, the Honor X50GT, launched back in January 2024, packs a 6.78&#8243; 19.5:9 ratio AMOLED display with 1220 x 2652 resolution. It has a 108 MP + 2 MP setup on the back paired with an 8 MP shooter on the front. All of it is powered by a 5800 mAh battery (supports 35W charging) and protected inside a IP53 splash resistant body.</p>

<p>iQOO is expected to unveil the Z10 series of mid-range phones in China later this month or in April. The lineup is also expected to include Turbo-branded models, such as the Z10 Turbo featuring the Dimensity 8400 and the Z10 Turbo Pro equipped with the next-generation Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. According to tipster Panda is Bald, one of the competing phones in the Z10 series features an unprecedented 8,000mAh battery.</p>

<h3><strong>Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone with 8,000mAh battery incoming</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="839" height="162" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-29.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-676369" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-29.png 839w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-29-300x58.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-29-768x148.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-29-696x134.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 839px) 100vw, 839px" /><figcaption>Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone with 8,000mAh battery incoming</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>As seen above, the tipster claims that an upcoming smartphone will feature a massive 8,000mAh battery and a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-plus-gen-1">Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1</a>, a chipset that debuted back in 2022. However, they did not reveal the brand or name of the device.</p>

<p>The tipster has clarified in the comments section that the said phone does not belong to Redmi or Oppo. Many have speculated that this mysterious phone could be from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/honor">Honor</a>.</p>

<p>Honor launched a couple of Honor X50 series devices, such as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x50i/">Honor X50i</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x50i-plus/">X50i+,</a> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x50/">X50,</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x50-pro/">X50 Pro</a>, in 2023. However, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x50-gt/">X50 GT</a> equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and a 5,800mAh battery was announced in January 2024.</p>

<p>Last year, the brand announced the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x60i">Honor X60i</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x60/">X60</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-x60-pro/">X60 Pro</a>. While the X60 GT was expected to launch in January 2025, it has yet to be released. This means the mysterious phone featuring a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and an 8,000mAh battery could potentially be the Honor X60 GT.</p>

<p>However, the existence of the X60 GT remains speculative. Readers are advised to take this information with a grain of salt and wait for further reports to confirm the identity of the mysterious device.</p>
