HP has introduced its new Spectre x360 laptop models in India, designed to cater to the diverse needs of young consumers. These laptops are distinguished by their smart AI features, aiming to improve performance, collaboration, and security.

A key feature of the Spectre x360 series is the integration of an NPU that helps in AI-related workloads. The laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 7. They also incorporate NVIDIA Studio with RTX 4050 GPU.

These laptops include up to a 2.8K OLED screen with IMAX Enhanced Certification, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a variable refresh rate from 48 Hz to 120 Hz. The 16-inch model features the largest haptic touchpad for a Windows-based 16-inch PC. They come with up to 2 TB PCIe NVMe TLC M.2 SSD (4×4 SSD) and up to 32GB RAM

They include a 9 MP camera with hardware-enabled low-light adjustment. As for audio, the laptops are tuned by Poly and Windows Studio effects. The dedicated AI chip helps with many security features such as walk-away lock and privacy alerts.

Other features of the Spectre x360 laptops include adaptive screen adjustments like screen dimming when the user looks away and automatic adjustments of fan noise and temperature based on usage.

In terms of I/O ports, the laptops are equipped with 1 USB Type-A with a 10Gbps signaling rate that supports HP Sleep and Charge, 1 HDMI-out 2.1, 1 headphone/microphone combo, and 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports with USB Type-C and a 40Gbps signaling rate. The Thunderbolt 4 ports support USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort 2.1, and HP Sleep and Charge functionality.

Connectivity is powered by Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 (2×2) and Bluetooth 5.3. The laptop is powered by a 100 W USB Type-C power adapter for efficient and convenient charging.

Pricing & availability

The HP Spectre x360 2024 is available in 14-inch and 16-inch models. The 14-inch laptop is priced at Rs. 1,64,999 and is available in Nightfall Black and Slate Blue. The 16-inch model is priced at Rs. 1,79,999 and comes in Nightfall Black. Both models are available for purchase at HP World stores, the HP Online store, and leading retail stores in India.

PC maker HP has launched two new laptops under its Spectre lineup in India. The new HP offerings are arriving in India less than a month after their global unveiling. The HP Spectre 13.5 x 360 and Spectre 16 x 360 laptops are powered by the 12th gen Intel Alder Lake processors and come with EVO certification.

The new HP Spectre laptops in India feature AI-intelligent capabilities including Auto frame and Noise Reduction. The two screen sizes available for the new laptops are 13.5” and 16’. The bigger model can be configured with Intel Arc Graphics for more compelling color output. Both models have 4K OLED screens with 120Hz refresh rates. Their panels also support touch technology. The blue-light filter is built-in and it is designed to be always on.

The new HP Spectre lineup sports a dual chamfer angular design which is beautiful. As per aspect ratios, two options are on offer for web browsing and similar tasks (3:2), and video/ audio editing (16: 10). The display comes with an anti-reflection coating and is TUV certified. Both laptops come with up to 16 hours of battery life and support fast charging. The Auto Frame camera settings enable the user to be kept in the frame during video calls. There are several security features for an enhanced user experience.

The HP Spectre 13.5 x 360 and Spectre 16 x 360 start at 1.3 Lakhs ($1,667) and 1.4 Lakhs ($1,795) respectively. They come in a variety of color combinations and can be pre-ordered from HP India. Orders could also be made from Croma & Reliance outlets, as well as select HP World facilities across India.
