In line with the growing preference for tablet in work and study settings, it looks like HTC is gearing up to unveil its latest offering, the HTC A103 Plus. From the specs, the new tablet aims to meet the diverse requirements of professionals and students seeking high-performance devices.

HTC A103 Plus has made it’s appearance in the Google GMS Certification, indicating that the device is undergoing rigorous testing and evaluation.

Judging from the available information on it’s specs, HTC A103 Plus is positioned as a budget-friendly tablet option. The device’s anticipated price point and feature set are expected to cater to a wide range of consumers seeking an affordable yet capable tablet experience.

The certification confirms HTC A103 Plus will be 4G Wi-Fi tablet. It will feature a 10.1-inch FHD display, with a resolution of 1200*1920 pixels. It should be powered by the MTK8768A processor, which consists of four Arm Cortex-A53 cores running at 2.0GHz and four Arm Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.5GHz. This includes a GPU (IMG8320) clocked at 650MHz for graphics processing. The tablet will come with a 5MP primary camera, while selfies can be captured with the 5MP front-facing camera, which features face detection and AI face unlock capabilities.

The HTC A103 Plus will run on Android 13.0 and offers 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of ROM, expandable up to 256GB using a MicroSD card. It will be powered by a 6000mAh battery and supports Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi. The tablet will also feature a Type-C USB 2.0 port, OTG support, and various sensors including gravity, acceleration, etc. The tablet will include standard features like GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS for precise location tracking.

After launching budget smartphones like Wildfire E3 and Wildfire E Lite, HTC is now expected to launch a tablet device. While not being popular for any of its devices in the recent times, the company seems to be still trying to maintain its position in the market. A HTC tablet dubbed HTC A100 has now arrived on Google Play Console listing confirming its existence.

According to the Google Play Console listing(shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav), a new device named HTC A100 is in the works. It is not a smartphone, rather, a tablet device that is expected to come in the budget segment. The listing reveals that the device is powered by a Spreadtrum T618 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. As for storage, the tablet has a 128GB of onboard memory with up to 256GB of storage expandibility option.

The tablet packs a 7,000mAh battery and has a 10.1-inch display with 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution. It has a dual camera setup at the rear with a 13MP main and a 2MP secondary camera sensor. The tablet runs on Android 11 out of the box.

Moreover, the tablet was listed on a retail website with the same specs sheet. The listing has the image of the tablet but we aren’t sure if it is legit. Nonetheless, the page also reveals the price of the HTC A100 to be $200.

Given that the HTC A100 is still in the early stages of leaks, we may anticipate the tablet to appear in more similar leaks before it is officially announced.

It looks like HTC is planning to increase its foothold in China this year. We have already heard rumors about HTC One E9 as well as E9 Plus debuting in China in the coming few days. Even the HTC One M9 Plus is expected to be unveiled in Beijing at an official event in April. But it seems like these three aren’t the only premium devices that we’ll see from the company soon.

Upleaks recently revealed on Weibo that HTC is working on a new 8.9-inch tablet in partnership with China Mobile. We could see this new tablet as early as May 2015, says the leak.

The leak reveals a comprehensive list of specs. One of the interesting aspects revealed today is the processor used by this 8.9-inch tablet. Upleaks says that HTC T1H tablet will be powered not by the traditional Qualcomm or Mediatek chipsets but rather, an 2.2 GHz Allwinner H8 octa-core processor manufactured using the 28nm process. The chipset will use the PowerVR SGX544 Graphic Processing Unit.

Other important tech specs include 2GB RAM, 16GB / 32GB ROM and an 8.9-inch QXGA 2048 × 1530 pixel resolution display. The front camera will be of 1.6MP while the rear shooter will be of 8MP. The tablet will run on Android 5.0 with the company’s new Sense 7 UI on top.

The tablet will measure just 7.88mm in thickness despite the large 6700 mAh battery on board. The HTC T1H tablet will feature dual boom sound speakers too.

There will be two different version of this 8.9-inch tab, namely the HTC T1H Wi-Fi and the HTC T1H LTE. It is said the device will be launched by the end of Q2 2015 around May. No information about its pricing has been leaked but expect it to be cheaper than its competitors.

According to one source, HTC is now reportedly working on two models of the latest tablet Windows RT Blue. As you know, Windows RT Blue is none other than the Windows platform update of RT.

Based on the analysis of the NPD DisplaySearch estimated HTC is working on a tablet with Windows operating systems. Windows tablet itself is expected to be introduced to the public this year.

It also mentioned that the HTC will built a Windows tablet with 10.1 inch screen made by LG Display. Interestingly, the screen is claimed to already have a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a density of 218ppi.

But for a while now, HTC and Microsoft not give a statemnet about this rumor.
