Earlier today a new phone named HTC CBP showed up on benchmarking site, AnTuTu.

According to the details revealed by AnTuTu, the HTC CBP sports a 2K display, has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and is powered by the Snapdragon 835 CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. For optics, there is a 12MP camera on the rear and a 16MP up front. Some folks say the sensors are the Sony IMX362 and IMX351 respectively. The HTC CBP runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is reported to have scored about 170,000 points on AnTuTu.

This is a flagship phone in all ways. Some say the HTC CBP is actually the HTC U, the third device in the U series. It is also said to be the device codenamed HTC Ocean.

The HTC Ultra has not been well received so far. Reviewers have called out HTC on its small battery paired with two displays: a large primary one that measures 5.7-inches and a 2.05-inch always-on secondary displays. There have also been complaints about its lack of an audio jack considering the fact that the device is still thick defeating the purpose of removing the audio jack in the first place.

Let’s hope that HTC wins the hearts of everyone when this new device gets released just as LG has done with its G6.
