Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer HTC recorded a surge in revenue in June 2020, all thanks to a refreshed lineup that includes the Desire 20 Pro and U20 5G flagship model. The company is now set to reinforce its positive growth with the launch of yet another smartphone.

This time around, it is going to be an entry-level model, according to a listing on the Google Play Console.  The model is listed as HTC Wildfire E2 and it features a 6.2-inch HD+ screen with a waterdrop notch. The E2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone will run on Android 10 and features a rear fingerprint sensor.

The Google Play Console listing also contains a picture of the model showing the front design. The E20 will pack a waterdrop notch at the front housing a single selfie shooter.

There is no word yet on the specification but we’ll be on the lookout for more details on the Wildfire E2.
