Huawei has been showing the new Ascend Mate 2 series, this is the flagship smartphone that ready to release by Huawei as soon as possible. According to foreign media, this phone will sell for 2,988 (or around $494 USD) price tag per unit.

According to the news, the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 eill be ready to hit the market after the Chinese New year, in addition to Huawei Ascend Mate 2, there is also another smartphone the Huawei Ascend P62 which offers for 2,288 yuan (or around $378 USD) price tag.

In the configuration, Ascend Mate 2 will packs with 6.1 inches 720p IPS display, powered by quad-core 1.6GHz processor (two options: one is Qualcomm MSM8928, another Huawei Hass own Cortex A9 chip), sports with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD expansion up to 32GB, and has 5 megapixel front camera and 13 megapixels rear camera.

Ascend Mate 2 has a 4050mAh battery capacity, and claimed up to 60 hours of using in single charge. In addition, the Ascend Mate 2 hass 202gr of weight, and 9.5 mm of body thickness. On the software side, Huawei adopts its own system based on Android 4.3’s Emotion UI.

Huawei is showing their new flagship smartphone on CES 2014, the new Huawei Ascend Mate 2 is the successor from previous Huawei Ascend Model, this phone is packs with same screen size 6.1 inch display and now becoming the hot topic smartphone in Chinese market.

But now we have another smartphone that came from Huawei, the phone is Huawei Ascend P6S, this phone has been leaked on November 2013, Huawei Ascend P6S powered by an octa-core CPU.

Ascend P6S is looks exactly the same as its predecessor, it even weighs 120 grams, but is 0.3mm thicker. That’s quite odd, since a previous leaks has showed us the Ascend P6S actually weighs 166g and is 7.6mm thick.

The Ascend P6S will keep the same 4.7″ IPS 720p display, but will run on a completely new chipset manufactured on a 28nm process. The new SoC will allegedly boost the overall performance up to 80%, while at the same time halving the power consumption.

While the Huawei Ascend mate 2 is offers for 2988 yuan price tag or around $493 USD, and the Huawei Ascend P6S is offers with 2288 yuan or around $378 USD price tag.

Although the news has not been confirmed, but the aircraft had already got the network license, therefore the possibility of landing the domestic market should be very big in the near future.

However, the country started selling the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 should be the 3G version, so it should be with a processor clocked at 1.6GHz Hass Kirin 910 quad-core processor, its main feature is the use of 28nm process technology, and equipped with Mali-450 GPU, GPU graphics performance, whether or CPU performance have been some improvement compared to the past.

As the sucessor of Huawei Ascend P6, the new Ascend P6S is the upgrade version from the predecessor, covered by metal body and come with the next generation 28nm K3V2 1.6 GHz Cortex A9 processor, yess that’s not packs with Quad-core processor like we mentioned before.

While the screen size is same with the predecessor, that packs with 4.7 inch screen with 720p screen display, this phone has 132.6 × 65.5 × 6.48mm body dimensions and 120g of weight. There is 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.

After we looking at the specs of this phone, it’s seems the mid-tier phone rather than a high-end phone but this is Ascend P6S is quite  interesting while the rumors says that the Huawei Ascend P6S will be sold around $440 USD price tag per unit.

Huawei apparently is ready to adopt the new smartphone era, with nice specs and configuration, according to President of Huawei, Xu Xin Quan, Huawei is now ready to enter octa-core smartphone.

Xin Quan confirm that Huawei will soon release their first octa-core smartphone through Huawei Ascend P6S, this phone is the upgrade version from Ascend P6, and the S is mean of “speed”.

With octa-core processor from MediaTek, Huawei Ascend P6S reportedly will be released at CES 2014 or MWC 2014. But there is no exact information about the release date. So we have to wait until 2014 come.

Huawei seems ready to preparing their new Android smartphone, the new smartphone known as Ascend P6S, this is the upgrade version from Ascend P6, the new P6S is leaked through AnTuTu Becnhmark test.

The new Ascend P6S is got the good score point. The new Ascend P6S is leaked from AnTuTu benchmark site and finished with a score of 22,270. The score is not bad either for a mid-range, value phone. And while the clock speed isn't listed, it is believed that the processor was running at 1.6GHz. And it seems powered by quad core K3V2+ processor.

The fomerly product, Ascend P6 is the thinnest phone with only 6.18mm body thickness, and the new P6S seems ready to has more thinnest body rather than a predecessor. According to rumors the new Ascend P6S will ready to hit the market on December this year.
