During Huawei‘s product launch event held today, the company’s CEO Yu Chengdong showcased the Enjoy 50 Pro smartphone, officially unveiling the design of the premium mid-range model. At the same time, the smartphone is now listed for reservation on Jingdong (JD.com) but the pricing details are still unknown.

The JD listing shows that the Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro is available in four color options – Magic Night Black, Blue, Emerald Green, and Snow White. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 mobile processing platform which is an Octa-core chip built on a 6nm process. The chipset is bundled with an Adreno 610 GPU. The processor is paired with 8GB while there are 128GB and 256GB storage options available. The device also offers an extra 3GB of virtual RAM.

In terms of the display, the Enjoy 50 Pro packs a 6.7-inch LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution of 2388×1080 pixels. The display uses a punch-hole design and features support for a 90Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1.05mm ultra-narrow bezel.

In addition, the premium mid-range phone crams a decent 5000mAh battery under the hood with support for 40W fast charging. The device is capable of charging up to 50% in just 30 minutes meaning you get a full charge in just an hour.

For photography, the Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro is equipped with a 50MP main camera assisted by a 2MP macro and 2MP depth of field lens in a triple camera setup arranged in a circular module alongside the LED flash just like the Mate 40 series. At the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies. The phone supports front and rear recording simultaneously. In addition, you get support for Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Enjoy 50 Pro is expected to be up for pre-order on July 29. We expect the price to be revealed when the pre-order goes live.

Some design details of the upcoming Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro have surfaced on TENAA. The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro will be the next model in the Enjoy 50 series after the launch of the Enjoy 50 recently. The little design details leaked about the Enjoy 50 Pro show a semblance with the Huawei Mate 40.

The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro has a stylish design showing a ring camera bump like the Mate 40. It is indicated that the camera will have AI functionality. There is no sign of a front-facing camera but we expect the presence of a center hole punch at the top of the phone. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor, while the triple rear camera setup is signposted with a 50MP main camera. There are also two 2MP supporting cameras to complete the triple setup. The rear design of the Enjoy 50 Pro shows a white gradient interspersed with hues.

The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro is powered by an octa-core (2.4GHz) processor and a 6,000mAh battery. The device supports 22.5W fast charging and the phone could be used for an extended period. It sports a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a high refresh rate and clear graphics. The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro runs on HarmonyOS, Huawei’s homegrown operating system. The Enjoy 50 Pro also bears some hardware and software similarities with the Enjoy 50. However, the Huawei Enjoy 50 has a less powerful main camera (13MP) than the Enjoy 50 Pro (50MP).

There are no indications yet as to the release date of the Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro. Huawei has continued to climb out of the debilitating US sanction regime it suffered.
