This is said to be a major launch event from the Chinese tech company which can potentially see the release of new smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other ecosystem products.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="lazy" title="Huawei will hold the Huawei Smart Office Spring Conference on February 27, with posters suggesting new phones" src="https://img.ithome.com/newsuploadfiles/2022/2/2ba95420-6a05-4252-bf4e-6585986e32b9.jpg" width="690" height="1227" data-original="https://img.ithome.com/newsuploadfiles/2022/2/2ba95420-6a05-4252-bf4e-6585986e32b9.jpg" /></p>
<p>According to an <em><a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/604/020.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">ITHome</a></em> report, the official teaser poster reveals four planets (or moons) circling a planet in the center. This could be interpreted as Huawei&#8217;s various venture avenues with the middle being a smartphone, and products such as notebooks, tablets, or headphones are the other four planets revolving around it. Other than that, it could be also be interpreted as the camera module of an upcoming smartphone as we have seen similar camera designs from the brand in the past.</p>
<p>The brand has not revealed any teasers of any upcoming smartphone yet, however, this event might reveal the Huawei P50 derivative and Mate 40 derivative devices which were recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/21/huawei-p50-and-mate-40-derivates-get-3c-certified/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">spotted</a> on the 3C certification database carrying model numbers NOH-AN50 and ABR-AL60 respectively.</p>
<p>The company might also introduce the Huawei MatePad 10.4 2022 model which <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/16/huawei-matepad-10-4-2022-certified-china-miit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">recently received</a> China&#8217;s MIIT certification. In terms of the specs, the new Huawei MatePad 10.4 2022 model codenamed BAH4-AL10 will be equipped with HarmonyOS and have a 7150mAh battery, which is 100mAh higher than the previous generation.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-443869 td-animation-stack-type0-2" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/huawei-matepad.png?x44794" alt="Huawei MatePad 10.4" width="600" height="300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/huawei-matepad.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/huawei-matepad-300x150.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The slate will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor which was found in a number of mid-range mobile phones in 2021. Thus, the tablet looks like a mid-range slate.</p>
<p>The display specification wasn’t listed but the MatePad 10.4 is tipped to packs a 1200P resolution screen which is actually a 16:10 version of 1080P resolution. This screen ratio is in line with Huawei’s consistent product design philosophy.</p>
<p>The tablet will also have a SIM card slot which means it won’t be a WiFI-only tablet but there is no support for 5G connectivity. However, compared to mobile phones, tablets do not seem to be particularly dependent on 5G networks.</p>

Although not confirmed, rumors point to the global release of the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-p50">Huawei P50 series</a> of smartphones.</p>
<p>According to the teaser poster, Huawei will unveil a new product and it will be a smartphone. The poster showcases a phone&#8217;s side view and it is purported to be the Huawei P50. However, the company is also expected to launch the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-nova-9">Huawei Nova 9</a> globally. For those who are unaware, Huawei will unveil the Nova 9 smartphone on September 23 in China.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-411781 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50.png?x44794" alt="huawei p50" width="1311" height="721" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50.png 1311w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50-300x165.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50-768x422.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50-1024x563.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50-696x383.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50-1068x587.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/huawei-p50-764x420.png 764w" sizes="(max-width: 1311px) 100vw, 1311px" />The Huawei Nova 9 will be a mid-range smartphone powering the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-788">Qualcomm Snapdragon 788G SoC</a>. It is expected to feature an OLED display panel which will also double up as an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery, whereas, the Pro model will have a smaller 4,000mAh battery. The Pro will bag a 66W fast charging support.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Moving back to the Huawei P50 series, which apparently might make a global debut, comprises the P50 and P50 Pro. The vanilla is powered by the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888">Snapdragon 888 SoC</a>, whereas, the Pro has two versions &#8211; a <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/kirin-9000">Kirin 9000</a> powered device and a Snapdragon 888 powered phone. The duo features OLED displays with a 6.5-inch 90Hz panel on the P50 and a 6.6-inched curved 120Hz panel on the Pro.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-402836 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="1340" height="753" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue.jpg 1340w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Huawei-P50-Pro-Ripple-Blue-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1340px) 100vw, 1340px" /></p>
<p>The series is 4G-only and comes with a great camera system. The Huawei P50 has a triple camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto camera. On the othet hand, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-p50-pro-4g/">Huawei P50 Pro</a> has a quad camera array with a 50MP main, a 40MP B&amp;W sensor, and a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor.</p>
<p>If the P50 series indeed makes a global debut on October 21, it will be a tough competition to the global smartphone leaders like<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung"> Samsung</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple. </a></p>
