<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This handset has now begun to receive its second major update in the form of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/EMUI/">EMUI</a> 11, which unfortunately is also based on Android 10. Nevertheless, it does bring </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/10/huawei-announces-emui-11-features-updated-beta-devices/"><span style="font-weight: 400">new features and UI tweaks</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">That said, currently, the update is only live for the Chinese variant of this smartphone with build number 11.0.0.130. <p><span style="font-weight: 400">As for global markets, this phone is </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/24/huawei-emui-11-update-timeline-roadmap-schedule-global-markets/"><span style="font-weight: 400">scheduled</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> to get the update in Q1 2021. Hence, we can expect the firm to roll out the build by the end of March.</span></p>
