The launch of the Mate 30 series coincided with news that Google won’t give Huawei license to use the official Android with Google Services. This was as a result of the trade ban which the US government imposed. Despite the restrictions, Huawei did announce recently that it had sold 7 million units of the Mate 30 series. Most of the units would definitely have been sold in China but the flagship model was also released in limited quantities in some countries. The United Arab Emirates will soon join the countries where the Mate 30 series have gone official.

Huawei has confirmed via a teaser on its official UAE website that the Mate 30 Pro will be available for pre-order on December 1. The teaser also suggests the company will make an announcement on that day, possibly revealing the launch date. You can even register your email address to get notified when the pre-order opens on Sunday. The teaser also reveals the Mate 30 Pro purchase will come with additional perks which include an extended warranty, screen protection, smart view flip cover or SuperCharge wireless car charger.

The Mate 30 Pro is undoubtedly an amazing smartphone both in terms of the design ad hardware. It is powered by the home-brewed Kirin 990 chipset but the snag is that it doesn’t ship with official Google Services.
