According to a Weibo (Chinese microblogging website) blogger @鹏鹏君驾到, the company will launch four smartphone models under the Mate 40 lineup. This includes the base Mate 40, the higher end Mate 40 Pro, the new top offering Mate 40 Pro+, and a Mate 40 Porsche Special Edition. Notably, Huawei had also launched a P40 Pro+ within its flagship P40 lineup earlier this year. So, the rumor does hold some ground and is possible.

Furthermore, the Chinese tech giant’s entire flagship series will support 5G networking, with the company currently working on stepping up manufacturing and conducting key debugging phases. Huawei is apparently also working on a few new features as well that will improve its product’s performance, boost system optimization, and more. Unfortunately, this is still an unconfirmed rumor, so take it with a grain of salt for now and stay tuned for more updates.
