Earlier this year, Huawei launched its top-end All-in-One (AIO) PC dubbed the Huawei MateStation X in the Chinese market. Now, the All-In-One PC has made its way to the UK market. So, let’s take a look at its specs, features, and pricing.

Huawei MateStation X specs & features

The MateStation X is a well-rounded AIO PC that has many things going for it. Starting with the display, it comes with a 28.2-inch 4K+ panel with 3840 x 2560 pixels resolution, 500nits peak brightness, and a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display is also suitable for professionals and creatives as it covers 100% of the sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut. Additionally, the screen also has Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certification from TÜV Rheinland.

Under the hood, the AIO PC comes configured with up to AMD Ryzen 7 5800H mobile processor that offers 8 cores and 16 threads. It is paired with 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and 1TB of NVMe SSD storage. For thermal management, Huawei has put super thin, high-performance fan blades on its Shark fin fan to keep the system cool and quiet.

Other than that, the MateStation X comes with quad microphones capable of picking up the user’s voice from up to 5 meters away and a triple Devialet speaker system with 2x 5W full-range speakers and a 10W subwoofer. It also has two USB-C ports, two USB-A, ports, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and an audio jack.

Last year, Huawei officially announced its first all-in-one computer under its Mate lineup, dubbed as Huawei MateStation X which comes packed with a powerful set of specs. A few days ago, a new 1TB model of the device was announced.

Now, just days after getting launched, the top-end model of the Huawei MateStation X is available for purchase in the Chinese market today. The 1TB storage model has a discounted price of 13,999 yuan which is about $2,215.

In terms of design, the device looks quite similar to the Huawei MateView monitor launched by the company. It features a 28.2-inch 4K+ 3:2 display with 3840 x 2560 pixels screen resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 92 percent.

The company mentions 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 100% sRGB, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certification. The stand of the MateStation X is also wider and the speaker doesn’t occupy the whole height.

Under the hood, the Huawei MateStation X is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H or the Ryzen 7 5800H processor, coupled with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of NVMe SSD storage. It also features a 1-megapixel 720p HD camera for video calling.

There are four microphones that can pick up a user’s voice from up to 5 meters away. It also has three Devialet speakers – 2x 5W full-range speakers and a 10W subwoofer. It also has two USB-C ports, two USB-A, ports, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and an audio jack.

Huawei ships the MateStation X with its Huawei Wireless Keyboard. The fingerprint scanner in the keyboard also doubles as the power button. Along with that, the company is also offering Huawei Bluetooth Mouse AF30 in the box.

Huawei has announced its very first All-in-One PC today and it is a beast! The MateStation X packs a gigantic 4K+ display, an AMD processor and GPU, and a price tag of over $1500.

Huawei’s MateStation X looks like its MateView monitor. It has a similar 28.2-inch 4K+ (3840 x 2560) 3:2 display but the screen-to-body ratio is slightly lower at 92% and it has ten-point touch support. The spec sheet also mentions it has 98% P3 color gamut, 100% sRGB, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certification. The stand of the MateStation X is also wider and the speaker doesn’t occupy the whole height. The screen can also be tilted backward with a single finger.

Powering the desktop computer is AMD’s Ryzen 5 5600H processor with a Radeon graphics card. There is also a version with the Ryzen 7 5800H processor. Huawei ships it with 16GB of DDR4 RAM (8GB x 2) and a 512GB NVMe SSD.

The MateStation X has four microphones that can pick up a user’s voice from up to 5 meters away. It also has three Devialet speakers – 2x 5W full-range speakers and a 10W subwoofer. A 1MP 720p HD camera is available for video calls.

For connectivity, there are two USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1) ports with a 10W power output, two USB-A (USB 3.2 Gen 1) ports, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and an audio jack. Huawei ships the MateStation X with its Huawei Wireless Keyboard (fingerprint version). The fingerprint scanner in the keyboard also doubles as the power button. It also comes with the Huawei Bluetooth Mouse AF30.

The computer runs Windows 10 out of the box but a free upgrade to Windows 11 will be available once Microsoft launches it. Huawei has added tons of features such as multi-screen collaboration with a compatible Huawei phone and tablet; an extended mode that allows the desktop screen to be extended to a compatible tablet; a mirror mode that mirrors your tablet’s display to the computer’s screen; an easy share mode between compatible devices; and an easy pairing mode with compatible Huawei headphones.

Huawei has put a price tag of ¥9999 (~$1549) on the base model with a Ryzen 5 CPU. It is already listed on Vmall and it will be available in Deep Space Gray and Silver.
