Now, we know that the company is working on a new smartwatch lineup.</p>
<p>As <a href="https://news.mydrivers.com/1/735/735625.htm">per the latest information</a>, the company has applied to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/trademark">trademark</a> &#8220;NOVA Watch&#8221; last week, which as the name indicates, is for the smartwatch series we expect the company to launch in the near future.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-366438 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Huawei-Nova-Watch-Series.png?x44794" alt="Huawei Watch Nova Trademark" width="917" height="811" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Huawei-Nova-Watch-Series.png 917w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Huawei-Nova-Watch-Series-300x265.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Huawei-Nova-Watch-Series-768x679.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Huawei-Nova-Watch-Series-696x616.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Huawei-Nova-Watch-Series-475x420.png 475w" sizes="(max-width: 917px) 100vw, 917px" /></p>
<p>Do note that the Nova lineup isn&#8217;t new for the company as it has already launched several smartphones under it but it&#8217;s certainly new for the Chinese giant to launch smartwatches under this Nova branding.</p>
<p>It is being reported that the Huawei Nova Watch series will be focusing on fashion as its main selling point and will be targeted towards youngsters. Some indicate that the reason behind the new Nova <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/smartwatch">smartwatch</a> lineup could be the independence of its sub-brand Honor, stripping Huawei off of several devices from its portfolio.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">EDITOR&#8217;S PICK:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/19/redmibook-pro-15-is-debuting-in-february-launching-with-redmi-k40-series/">RedmiBook Pro 15 is debuting in February, could get launched along with Redmi K40 Series?</a></strong></p>
<p>This upcoming lineup will be a new addition to the company&#8217;s wearable products, which currently include Huawei Children&#8217;s Watch 3, Huawei Band, Huawei Watch GT, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/23/huawei-watch-fit-new-year-edition-china-launch-price/">Huawei Watch Fit</a>.</p>
<p>As for the company&#8217;s market share, Huawei ranked among the top five wearable markets in China with 9.41 million shipments and a 28.6 percent market share. In total, the Chinese market saw shipments of 32.93 million devices in Q3 2020.</p>
