Now, ahead of the said month, a reliable Huawei-focused tipster has shed availability details on this variant of the handset.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to the leaker, the HUAWEI P50 Pro with Snapdragon 888 will go on </span><a href="https://weibo.com/6084203417/L1J7ugSXz"><span style="font-weight: 400">sale</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> in late December. Additionally, he </span><a href="https://weibo.com/6084203417/L1JfBpLBD"><span style="font-weight: 400">says</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> that there will not be a 5G version of both HUAWEI P50 and HUAWEI P50 Pro. Also, Huawei will not be releasing HUAWEI P50 Pro+.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">For those unaware, the P50 series is </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/07/29/heres-why-the-huawei-p50-series-is-limited-to-4g-lte/"><span style="font-weight: 400">limited to 4G connectivity</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> due to the sanctions by the US government. Although there are rumors of the HUAWEI Mate50 series with 5G connectivity in 2022, its release is uncertain at the moment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Hence, if you are interested in a new </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/HUAWEI/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Huawei</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> flagship smartphone, then the 4G-only HUAWEI P50 Pro with Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is expected to hit the shelves next month, is the only viable option.</span></p>
