The printer packs some pretty interesting features, some of which work best with other Huawei products. It is also powered by <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/harmonyos">HarmonyOS</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-412088" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1.png?x44794" alt="Huawei PixLab X1" width="1732" height="802" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1.png 1732w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1-300x139.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1-768x356.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1-1024x474.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1-696x322.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1-1068x495.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-1-907x420.png 907w" sizes="(max-width: 1732px) 100vw, 1732px" /></p>
<p>The PixLab X1 is a laser printer that can only print in black and white. It can print up to 28 pages per minute and Huawei says it also supports automatic double-sided printing. The printer also doubles as a copier and a smart flatbed scanner. When scanning documents such as ID cards, the printer will automatically correct the orientation of the card if positioned randomly.</p>
<p>Weighing almost 9.5 kilograms, the Huawei PixLab X1 comes in a single colorway &#8211; white. It has capacitive touch controls that occupy the entire length and the spec sheet says it has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. There is a USB 2.0 port, a 10/100 M Base-TX port, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 5. It also has NFC, so you can easily print from a device with NFC such as your phone with a single touch.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/huawei-pixlab-x1-nfc-printing/'><img width="940" height="810" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-NFC-printing.png?x44794" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-NFC-printing.png 940w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-NFC-printing-300x259.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-NFC-printing-768x662.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-NFC-printing-696x600.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-PixLab-X1-NFC-printing-487x420.png 487w" sizes="(max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px" /></a>

<p>Huawei says that once a user account is connected to the computer, all devices under that account are automatically added to the printer, so there is no need for a separate pairing for each device. Users can also share the printer with family and friends connected to their devices. The PixLab X1 also supports remote printing and uses a toner cartridge (X-15000 and F-1500).</p>
<p>The spec sheet says the printer is compatible with devices running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 2003 and up, Ubuntu 14.04 and above, macOS 10.9.x and above, and RedHat 7.0 and above.</p>
<p>The PixLab X1 is priced at ¥1899 (~$294). It is already listed on Vmall but is not yet available for purchase.</p>

The event, which is titled &#8220;Unlocking new office productivity!&#8221; hints at the launch of new office-related products.</p>
<p>The company has not yet revealed what devices it plans to launch at the next week&#8217;s event but if the recent leak is to be believed then the China-based tech giant is gearing up to launch its own <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/printer">printer</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-411023 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Launch-Event-13-Sept.jpeg?x44794" alt="Huawei Sept. 13 Launch Event in China" width="690" height="1227" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Launch-Event-13-Sept.jpeg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Launch-Event-13-Sept-169x300.jpeg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Launch-Event-13-Sept-576x1024.jpeg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Launch-Event-13-Sept-236x420.jpeg 236w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>Another <a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/574/115.htm">report indicates</a> that Huawei will be launching a 14-inch large-screen product at its September 13 launch event. The report adds that the device won&#8217;t be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/smartphone">smartphone</a> in the traditional sense but will have the functions of a mobile phone but what the product will be called is not yet known.</p>
<p>The screen of 14-inch is a bit larger for a regular <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tablet">tablet</a> but is related to a laptop. However, it appears that the upcoming device isn&#8217;t a laptop as it has support for functions of a smartphone. To know for sure, we&#8217;ll have to wait for a few more days for the official launch event to take place.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-411024 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Printer-Leak.jpeg?x44794" alt="Huawei Printer Leak" width="600" height="571" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Printer-Leak.jpeg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Printer-Leak-300x286.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Huawei-Printer-Leak-441x420.jpeg 441w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>As for the printer, the leaked image of the upcoming Huawei printer reveals that along with the printing functionality, it also comes with support scanning and copying, making the printer an all-in-one product. It will also support <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/wi-fi">Wi-Fi connectivity</a> for wireless printing and can be easily controlled remotely through an application.</p>

Last year, it announced its first desktop computer, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/08/huawei-matestation-b515-launch-amd-ryzen-4700g/">MateStation B515</a>. It has also released a couple of standalone monitors, with the latest ones being the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/05/19/huawei-launch-mateview-mateview-gt-monitors/">MateView and MateView GT</a>. Now, a new leak has revealed it will announce two new computer products next month.</p>
<p>According to serial leaker of Huawei-related news, Teme (@RODENT950), Huawei will launch an All-in-One PC and a printer next month. The tweet includes an image of the All-in-One and it looks just like the MateView monitor.</p>
<p>This is not the first time we have heard of a Huawei All-in-One PC. Back in December of 2020, it was reported that it had been <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/30/huawei-all-in-one-pc-leak-ultra-thin-design/">granted a patent for the computer</a>. Now it is ready to announce it after nine months.</p>

<p lang="en" dir="ltr">New All-in-one PC and printer coming next month. Also new Nova 9 series phones. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Huawei?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Huawei</a> <a href="https://t.co/yZuTu2MS7Z">pic.twitter.com/yZuTu2MS7Z</a></p>

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>Huawei will also announce a desktop printer along with the computer. While this will also be its first desktop computer, it isn&#8217;t its first printer. Back in 2018, Huawei announced <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/12/17/huawei-launches-a-portable-photo-printer-smart-scale-wifi-version-handheld-gimbal-smart-ip-camera/">a portable photo printer</a> that uses ZINK inkless printing technology. With its first desktop printer, Huawei will be going against established brands such as HP, Canon, and Epson.</p>
<p>The leaker has also reaffirmed that the successor to the Nova 8 series is also on the way. An earlier report from last week said <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/08/17/huawei-nova-9-series-likely-to-debut-in-mid-september/">the Nova 9 series may launch in mid-September</a>. The new Nova 9 series is coming 9 months after the Nova 8 5G and Nova 8 Pro 5G were announced, however, it <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/08/17/huawei-nova-9-may-launch-in-4g-first/">may not have 5G like its predecessors</a>.</p>
<p>Huawei has had to resort to launching phones with 4G processors as a result of the ban. Only a few devices with 5G have been announced and they usually arrive later than the 4G models.</p>
