<p>Although the exact launch date has not been known yet, a new report coming from a tipster on Weibo (<a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/588/253.htm">via ITHome</a>) claims that the company could be launching smartwatches, ink screens, Bluetooth glasses, and some other products with support for blood pressure monitoring at this upcoming event.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-279813 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo.jpg?x10805" alt="Huawei" width="1200" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/huawei-logo-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p>So far, among all these types of products, names of only two products are known &#8212; <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-mate-v">Huawei Mate V</a> for the flip folding smartphone and Huawei Watch D for the smartwatch.</p>
<p>The specifications of the Mate V as well as details of its design are currently unknown. It was previously reported that Huawei is working on a foldable phone <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/09/29/huawei-clamshell-foldable-smartphone-reportedly-in-the-works/">with a clamshell design</a> similar to that of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-z-flip3-5g/">Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3</a>. However, there is no link connecting this clamshell foldable to the Mate V expected to launch next quarter. Time will tell if they are one and the same or two different devices.</p>
<p>On the other hand, coming to the Huawei Watch D, there’s no information about what the “D” in the device’s name indicates. Huawei previously launched a smartwatch named <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/14/huawei-watch-gt-2e-review-a-sporty-smartwatch-with-accurate-health-tracking/">Watch GT</a> where the GT stands for “Gran Turismo.” It may be that Huawei is rebranding its devices and thus, opted for a simpler name for the upcoming product.</p>
<p>This new smartwatch is expected to come with many health and fitness-related features, including a heart rate monitor, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/blood-pressure-monitor">blood pressure monitor</a>, and body fat monitor. If this turns out to be true, then it will be the first smartwatch from the company to come with support for blood pressure monitoring.</p>
