Huawei held a power-packed launch event today in China where the main attraction was the Huawei Nova 4 with its in-hole selfie camera. Apart from the Nova 4, several new products that were announced. The company unveiled the Enjoy 9, Matebook 13 and a slew of smart products such as a smart body fat scale, portable photo printer, security camera (panoramic version) and a three-axis phone gimbal. 

Huawei Portable Photo Printer

Huawei’s portable photo printer uses a compact body that is the same size as a power bank. With ZINK inkless printing technology, it is convenient and environmentally friendly, and photo paper can be pasted. The portable printer also supports Huawei Share 3.0 which functions as data transfer protocol to different devices. However, in this case, Huawei Share 3.0 supports direct printing of pictures or data by connecting to the printer with a mobile phone. In addition, Huawei portable photo printer also supports AR photos, printing video keyframes, scanning of the printed photos to play AR video.

The portable photo printer comes with a price tag of 599 yuan ($86).

Huawei Smart Body Fat Scale (WiFi version)

Huawei already has a smart body fat scale to its name but this is the WiFi version with more advanced features. The Huawei Smart Body Fat Scale doesn’t just detect your weight but also detects your body fat and heart rate. It comes with a comprehensive understanding of your physical conditions with 9 body composition analysis in 1 detection. Apart from weight, the smart scale also calculates the body mass index (BMI),  Body Fat in percentage, protein, visceral fat, muscle fat, body water, bone mass, and BMR. The smart scale adopts high precision BIA chip, 4 pressure sensors, and 360° adjustable scale feet to achieve accurate & convenient measurement. The WiFi version will ensure that the data is readily available even when the user is not at home and perhaps, reminders can be delivered. The new Huawei Smart Body scale also detects the heart rate. It will sell for a price of 199  yuan ($28).

Huawei Smart Panoramic Security Camera

The new Huawei Panoramic security camera is equipped with dual silent motors and has a 360-degree panoramic view. The camera supports 1080p/30fps high-definition picture quality. It also comes with invisible infrared fill light and is equipped with a silent night vision recording feature. The smart camera is also equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) detection system which distinguishes it from ordinary cameras. It can accurately detect and notify about movements through humanoid recognition and can also track and capture motion. Thus, if the homeowner is outside, the alarm won’t sound based on facial recognition. The AI also enable the gadget to understand the environment at home. Further, the smart camera can provide real-time alarms for abnormal situations, and video messages can be pushed in real time.

Huawei Handheld Phone Gimbal Stabilizer 

Huawei also unveiled a new three-axis handheld gimbal stabilizer for mobile phones that can be used as a selfie stick as well.
