<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a> has been launching mobile accessories with some unique designs and continues to launch new products in the market at regular intervals. Now, the company has a new product coming to the market &#8212; Huawei Watch Buds.</p>

<p>The Chinese tech giant has officially confirmed that Huawei Watch Buds, its upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/wearable">wearable product</a>, will be launched in the Chinese market on 2nd December.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="720" height="386" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Huawei-Watch-Buds-Teaser.webp?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-498766" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Huawei-Watch-Buds-Teaser.webp 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Huawei-Watch-Buds-Teaser-300x161.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Huawei-Watch-Buds-Teaser-696x373.webp 696w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /></figure></div>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/richard-yu">Richard Yu</a>, Executive Director of Huawei and CEO of the company&#8217;s Terminal BG, describes the upcoming Huawei Watch Buds as a &#8220;revolutionary breakthrough in the shape and structural design of wearable products, allowing everyone to enjoy an unprecedented convenient experience.&#8221;</p>

<p>The teaser video related to the device shows that the Huawei <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-watch-buds">Watch Buds</a> will be similar to other smartwatches, but the dial area of the device can be opened. It is speculated that the area that opens up will house a pair of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tws-earbuds">true wireless earbuds</a>. It will be interesting to see how the company has managed to keep the thickness of the device in check.</p>

<p>As of now, not much is known about this upcoming product, but the design of the device teased in the video has got up excited about this unique concept. We will get to know more about it when the device goes official on 2nd December at 07:00 PM local time in China. The company will also be launching Huawei Nova 10 SE and Huawei Enjoy 50z at the event.</p>

<p>A leaked retail packaging of the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a> Watch Buds shows that the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/smartwatch">smartwatch</a> comes with removable earbuds. If confirmed, the presence of built-in earbuds in the Huawei Watch Buds could mark a significant milestone. This comes on the heels of the recent release of the Huawei Watch GT Cyber. Apart from the removable earbuds, the leaked packaging also shows the hinged display of the Watch Buds.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="714" height="816" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds2.jpg?x10805" alt="https://www.huaweicentral.com/huawei-watch-buds-leak-shows-earbuds-inside-a-smartwatch/" class="wp-image-498197" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds2.jpg 714w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds2-263x300.jpg 263w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds2-696x795.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds2-368x420.jpg 368w" sizes="(max-width: 714px) 100vw, 714px" /></figure></div>

<p>Huawei has released several smartwatches in 2022, the latest being the Watch GT Cyber with a modular design. Although there has been no official confirmation about the Watch Buds, the new smartwatch could be unique. Its name also points to the possible presence of earbuds in its architecture. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="600" height="724" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds3.jpg?x10805" alt="Huawei Watch Buds " class="wp-image-498203" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds3.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds3-249x300.jpg 249w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds3-348x420.jpg 348w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></figure></div>

<p>After its April listing by the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Watch Buds has been off the front burner of speculations until now. A photo of the Watch Buds has surfaced on multiple social media platforms. The image bears some striking semblance to the Watch GT 3 and the hinged display supports the placement or removal of a pair of earbuds.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="600" height="702" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds4.jpg?x10805" alt="Huawei Watch Buds " class="wp-image-498202" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds4.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds4-256x300.jpg 256w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/huawei-watchbuds4-359x420.jpg 359w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Huawei Watch Buds could be the first smartwatch to feature built-in earbuds, but a few companies have attempted the idea previously. Some of the knotty considerations for such hybrid products are the optimum form factor and battery size. There is also the issue of the space needed to store the earbuds. It is unclear what Huawei might have done to overcome the battery size issue. There are also no indications yet on the launch date of the Watch Buds.</p>
