HyperX has launched a new audio device in India. It is the HyperX Cloud III headset and is aimed at gamers. The latest offering arrives as the successor to the Cloud II that debuted way back in 2015 (nearly eight years ago). The device packs a host of specifications and features. The company says that the Cloud III is made even more comfortable with new materials and fit. Read on to know what the headset offers out of the box. 

HyperX Cloud III specifications and features

The HyperX Cloud III is an over-ear wired headset with a signature memory foam in the headband and ear cushions for a comfortable fit. It is equipped with a durable metal frame and weighs just 307 grams for longer gaming sessions. There is a volume control wheel, a mute button, and an LED mic-mute indicator that indicates when the user is muted. The microphone is also detachable. 

In terms of audio, the HyperX Cloud III is equipped with a custom-tuned angled 53mm driver. It features DTS Headphone X: Spatial Audio. There is a 10mm microphone for clear in-game voice chats and calls. The headset is compatible with a host of devices including PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and smartphone. It comes with a 3.5mm jack, USB-C, and USB-A connectors. There is also a compact adapter that offers connectivity options for both USB-C and USB-A ports. 

The HyperX Cloud III carries a price tag of Rs 8.499. It is offered in Black and Black/Red colors. The gaming headset can be purchased from Amazon.
