Transsion Holding subsidiary Infinix has launched the Hot 10i in the Philippines. The Infinix Hot 10i has been on the radar for some time. The device was first spotted on Google Play Console in March and later on in April, it was certified by the US FCC. The entry-level smartphone has now been unveiled for the first time packing lots of decent features.

Powered by MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core SoC, the Hot 10i offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, which can be expanded further. The 6,000mAh battery offers greater mileage in its usage and 18W fast charging is also available. The new smartphone has a 6.52-inch HD+ display, a 13MP main camera, a 5MP selfie cam, as well as an auxiliary QVGA sensor, and a quad-LED flash.

The internal setup of the Infinix Hot 10i means that it could be a wonderful gaming device with its Dar-link gaming optimization engine. This enables games to run seamlessly. The device will run on the Android 11 operating system and also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. An added layer of safety for the Hot 10i is the Safe Charge technology that allows the device to cut off power immediately after the battery is fully charged.

In terms of connectivity, the Infinix Hot 10i has 4G LTE capability, GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi connectivity. The Philippine model will come with four color variants namely: Morandi Green, Hear of Ocean, 95-degree Black, and 7-degree Purple. The 6,000mAh battery is non-removable, which guarantees better overall performance.

The new Infinix Hot 10i introduced to the Philippine market is expected to get a decent reception because of its extended features and affordability. The device is priced at Php 5,990 ($120) and can be purchased at Shopee for a limited-time discounted price of Php 5,190 ($104). This offer could be a boon for smartphone users on the lower end of the spectrum in the Philippines. We expect the device to hit the Indian market pretty soon.

Earlier this week, Infinix Hot 10i was spotted on Google Play Console. The listing revealed the primary specs and the front design of this handset. Now, we have spotted this smartphone on FCC. The certification shows off the device’s rear design and also confirms its battery capacity and charging speed.

The upcoming Infinix Hot 10i was certified by FCC in late February. In fact, its listing went live just a day after we reported on Infinix X693’s FCC certification.

That said, as per the FCC listing, the Infinix Hot 10i will come with model number X659B. The listing does not mention the phone’s marketing name. We found out that from an automated Google Play Certified Android devices list on GitHub.

It is worth noting that the Infinix Hot 10i spotted on Google Play Console has a different model number (X658B). But these handsets could be the same but meant for different markets. However, we cannot rule the possibility of them being different devices.

Because Infinix launched a smartphone called SMART 5 in India. But instead of the original phone with the same name, it was a rebranded Infinix HOT 10 Play.

Anyway, as per FCC, the Infinix Hot 10i (X659B) will feature a 5,850mAh battery (rated) with support for 10W charging. In other words, this smartphone will be backed by a 6,000mAh battery (typical).

As far as rear design is concerned, it will house a squircle camera module on the top left corner and a fingerprint sensor slightly below it. Going by the size of the module, we can expect at least two cameras. Whereas, the power button and the volume rocker will be loathed on the right side.

Assuming the Infinix X659B to be the same as Infinix X658B, we can expect this phone to come with an HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) display with 320 DPI and centered punch-hole, MediaTek Helio A20 SoC, 2GB RAM, and Android 11.

As of now, there’s no official word from Infinix regarding the launch of Hot 10i.

Infinix is expected to launch the Infinix Note 10 series very soon, as per multiple certifications. It looks like the brand will also announce an entry-level device called Infinix Hot 10i in the coming days. This phone has appeared on Google Play Console revealing its primary specifications.

Infinix Hot series of smartphones are similar to Xiaomi’s Redmi number series. These handsets offer the best bang for the buck in the markets they are sold. They are popular in Africa where Xiaomi and realme do not have much presence.

The upcoming Infinix Hot 10i with model number X658B will be no exception. According to the device’s Google Play Console listing, it will flaunt an HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, 320 DPI, and a centered punch-hole at the top for the selfie camera (as per front render).

Being an entry-level smartphone, the handset will be powered by a MediaTek Helio A20 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM. But thankfully, it will run Android 11 out of the box. Since all three Transsion brands (TECNO, Infinix, itel) are not known for providing proper software support, it is a plus point for this device to come with the latest Android version available.

Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the Infinix Hot 10i apart from the above-mentioned specifics. But we expect to learn more about it before its official announcement sometime later in the coming days.
