Infinix HOT 11, HOT 11S launched in India with FHD+ displays, Mediatek chipsets, and more

Infinix has launched two new budget smartphones in India. These devices are called Infinix HOT 11 and Ininix HOT 11S. As their names suggest, they are the successors of Infinix HOT 10 and Infinix HOT 10S respectively. Let’s take a look at what the new phones from the Transsion brand have to offer.

Infinix HOT 11S

Infinix HOT 11, HOT 11S Specifications and Features

The newly announced Infinix HOT 11 and Ininfix HOT 11S arrive with a new design when compared to their predecessors. The two phones even look different from one another. The vanilla model looks like an OPPO Reno, while the S variant resembles a HUAWEI nova.

On the front, the HOT 11 flaunts a 6.6-inch LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution and a dewdrop notch. Whereas, the HOT 11s sports a slightly larger 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a punch-hole.

Under the hood, the HOT 11 houses a MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, while a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC runs the HOT 11S. Both the handsets come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with support for MicroSD card expansion. The company could introduce more storage configurations in the future.

Talking about optics, the HOT 11 has a 13MP (wide) + 2MP (depth) dual-camera setup, whereas the HOT 11S sports a 50MP (wide) + 2MP (depth) + AI triple camera setup. For selfies and video calls, both use an 8MP sensor.

The duo also arrives with dual stereo speakers with support for DTS Surround Sound, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and XOS 7.6 based on Android 11.

Lastly, the HOT 11 is backed by a 5,200mAh battery as opposed to a smaller 5,000mAh battery inside the HOT 11S. However, the latter has support for 18W fast charging.

Price – ₹8,999 ($122)

Colors – Polar Black, Green Wave, 7° Purple

The first sale of Infinix HOT 11S is scheduled for September 21 at 12 PM. It will be sold via Flipkart. On the other hand, the brand is yet to reveal the availability of Infinix HOT 11.

An official teaser released by Infinix has all but confirmed the HOT 11S smartphone will launch in the Indian subcontinent soon. Although the poster did not reveal a launch date, the Chinese company is said to have confirmed that the device will launch on September 17.

The upcoming smartphone offering by Infinix will feature some impressive specifications that could stand out the device among its peers. The teaser confirms that the Infinix HOT 11S will be powered by the Helio G88 chipset with several other features also visible from the renders.

The smartphone has curved sides, a fingerprint scanner at the rear, and it also sports patterns on its back. One of the major highlights of the teaser was the triple rear camera setup that indicates the device could come with a 50MP rear sensor. The triple rear camera setup also includes a Quad-LED flash. Two versions of the model will be available in terms of the available RAM – 4GB and 6GB, and 64GB of internal storage. The Infinix HOT 11S will also sport a dual speaker system with DTS, and 18W Type-C charging capability.

There are no indications yet about the pricing details for the Indian market but we expect to have more information illuminating the device as we inch closer to the scheduled launch date of September 17. We expect more details to leak as the launch draws closer.

Infinix HOT 11, HOT 11S get listed on Google Play Console before launch

Infinix is all set to debut the HOT 11 series. The brand had already confirmed that the Infinix HOT 11S will be launching in India in September. This smartphone along with the vanilla Infinix HOT 11 has now appeared on Google Play Console.

Infinix HOT 10S

According to Google Play Console, the Infinix HOT 11 and the Infinix HOT 11S bear model numbers X662 and X6812 respectively. Bot the smartphones are powered by MediaTek chipsets.

The former features an Helio G70 SoC, while the latter has an Helio G88 SoC as revealed by the company. The duo runs Android 11 and is listed with 4GB RAM.

Both phones sport an FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) display. However, the panel on the vanilla model has a dewdrop notch as opposed to a punch-hole on the S variant.

As per official information, the Infinix HOT 11S will be available in two storage configurations in India – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB. These versions of the handset have been confirmed to retail at ₹9,999 and ₹10,999 respectively. Unfortunately, we don’t have similar details for the standard Infinix HOT 11.

Anyway, we expect to learn more about these two phones before their official launch in the coming weeks. Also, since the vanilla model is inferior to the S variant in terms of features, it should be cheaper.
