Last week, Infinix launched the Hot 12 Play smartphone in Thailand, and now, the company is planning to debut it in India too.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play is expected to make its Indian debut on May 23. The company also has the Note 12 series launch lined up for May 20.

As the Infinix Hot 12 Play has already launched in Thailand, we already know all its specs and features. So let’s take a look at what to expect from the Indian launch.

Infinix Hot 12 Play specifications

The device offers a 6.82-inch IPS TFT panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The screen also supports a 90Hz fluid refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate making it quite competent for a bit of gaming.

Under the hood, it houses the Helio G35 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM which can be expanded by up to 5GB virtually. It comes with 128GB of inbuilt storage and features a microSD slot if users want to expand the storage further. The smartphone runs Android 12-based XOS 1.6 UI out of the box and has a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

For optics, the Infinix Hot 12 Play has a dual-camera setup on the rear. It features a 13-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an AI lens, and a quad-LED flash unit. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

Other features of the smartphone include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures 170.47 x 776. x 8.32mm and weighs around 195 grams.
