Infinix‘s latest launch brings a new entry level smartphone in India. For a budget of just Rs 10,000, the new Infinix Hot 60i 5G brings a bunch of useful features like a smoother display than the iPhone 16 and a battery pack larger than Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. So let’s check it out.

Infinix Hot 60i 5G: What do you get for under Rs 10,000?

The Chinese brand announced the Hot 60i 5G with a tall 6.75-inch LCD panel that has an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 670 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the budget phone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can even expand the storage by up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.

A massive 6,000mAh battery pack powers this model, which supports 18W wired fast charging. The rear has a 50MP camera, while the front has a 5MP selfie shooter. Out of the box, the Infinix Hot 60i runs on the Android 15 OS based HiOS 15 custom skin. You also get support for dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD), Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

Infinix launched the Hot 60i with a Pixel’s visor like design on the rear. You can pick from four different color options, namely Monsoon Green, Plum Red, Sleek Black, and Shadow Blue. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart and retail stores on 21st August 2025 for Rs 9,299. There is also a bank discount that brings its effective price down to just Rs 8,999. This release also arrives mere days after the Infinix GT 30 went on sale in India.

Last month, Infinix unveiled the Infinix Hot 60 5G in India. Priced at Rs 10,499, the device offered key features such as a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, a Dimensity 7020 chipset, and a 5,200mAh battery. Today, the brand confirmed that it will unveil the Hot 60i 5G on Aug. 16 in the country. The microsite of the phone available on Flipkart has confirmed a few key specifications of the device.

Infinix Hot 60i 5G design, key specifications

According to the Flipkart listing, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G features a 6.75-inch LCD panel that supports an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come preinstalled with XOS 15-based Android 15. It will offer AI features such as Circle to Search, AI Eraser, and AI Extender. Additionally, it also features the One Tap AI physical button for accessing AI features.

While there is no information about the Infinix Hot 60i’s front camera, it features a 50-megapixel rear camera. The primary camera will support features like AIGC portraits, and 10 camera modes including Super Night mode.

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6400 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM, 4GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of storage. The device packs a 6,000mAh battery, which comes with support for reverse charging.

While the Infinix Hot 60i 5G features a waterdrop notch display on the front, it has a refreshed rear design. Like the recently unveiled Lava Blaze AMOLED 2, the Hot 60i is equipped with a horizontal camera module. It will be available in three shades: black, blue, and turquoise. Since it has 4GB of RAM onboard, it will be positioned lower than the Hot 60, which features 6GB of RAM. Therefore, it is likely to arrive with a sub-Rs 10,000 price tag.

In July, Infinix introduced the Helio G81 Ultimate-powered Hot 60i for the global market. The brand has now confirmed that a 5G variant of the phone will soon launch in India. Ahead of its expected debut later this month, Infinix has revealed the design and key specifications of the Hot 60i 5G.

As can be seen in the official image shared by the brand, the Infinix Hot 60i will be available in four shades: Shadow Blue, Monsoon Green, Sleek Black, and Plum Red. Its back panel has a horizontal camera visor, which houses a 50-megapixel primary camera and a dual-LED flash.

Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G is equipped with the Dimensity 6400 chip and a 6,000mAh battery. For durability, the device will offer an IP64 rating with TUV certification for 5 years of lag-free performance.

Apart from features like Circle to Search and AI Eraser, the Hot 60i 5G will also have AI-driven features like AI Extender, AI Call Translation, AI Wallpaper, and Image Generator. The brand is yet to confirm other details of the phone.

The Infinix Hot 60i is likely to be positioned lower than the Dimensity 7020-powered Hot 60 5G, which debuted last month in India. The Hot 60 was priced at Rs 10,499 at launch. Therefore, it is likely that the Hot 60i could be priced at around Rs 9,999 in the country. Like other Infinix phones, it will also be available via Flipkart in the country.
