The Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro smartphones have gone official today in India. The series comes with a large-sized punch-hole displays, quad rear cameras and massive batteries. The Hot 9 lineup has arrived with a starting price of Rs. 8,499 (~$112).

The Infinix Hot 9 will go on sale on June 8 at 12 PM (local time) through Flipkart. The handset will be available for Rs. 8,499 (~$112). The Hot 9 Pro will be available for purchase from June 5 at 12 PM (local time) with a pricing of Rs. 9,499 (~$125). Quetzal Cyan, Midnight Black, Violet, and Ocean Wave are the four color editions of the Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro phones.

Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 specifications

The Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro phones have 6.6-inch with HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. They are equipped with 8-megapixel front cameras. These phones have rear-facing fingerprint scanners and they carry support for face unlock.

The triple-LED flash assisted AI-powered quad-camera system of Hot 9 features a 13-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture, 2-megapixel depth sensor, 2-megapixel macro lens, and a low-light sensor. On the other side, the AI-assisted quad-camera setup features a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a low-light sensor, and quad-LED flash.

The Android 10 OS along with OXS 6.0 comes preinstalled on the Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro. They are driven by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. Both phones have 5,000mAh batteries and dedicated microSD card slots.

The Infinix Hot 9 and Infinix Hot 9 Pro are both equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage. The Hot 9 duo have dual SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, MicroUSB and 3.5mm audio jack.

Chinese brand Infinix will be launching the Infinix Hot 9 series of smartphones on May 29 in India. The lineup includes Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro smartphones. The landing page of the new series merged on Flipkart e-commerce site in the previous week. The listing just got updated with vital information on the display, cameras, and battery for both smartphones.

The Infinix Hot 9 series has a 6.6-inch display that is surrounded by slim bezels to offer high screen-to-body ratio. A punch-hole is available at the upper-left corner of the screen for the selfie snapper. The right edge of the device features a volume rocker and a power key. Both Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro both seem to be equipped with 5,000mAh batteries. There is no word on whether these devices will carry support for fast charging.

The Infinix Hot 9 series are blessed with quad cameras. The Hot 9 has a primary lens of 13-megapixel with f/1.8 aperture. It is coupled with a 2-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a low-light sensor. The handset features triple-LED flash for the rear cameras.

On the other side, the four rear-facing cameras of the Infinix Hot 9 Pro are equipped with a quad-LED flash unit. It has a 48-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and a low-light camera. Both phones have rear-mounted fingerprint scanners.

The Infinix Hot 9 was made official in Indonesia back in March with a pricing of around ~Rs. 8,700 (~$115). It appears that a slightly modified version of the same phone will be announced in India on May 29.

The Infinix Hot 9 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD HD+ screen and it is fueled by Helio A5 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The phone has a big built-in storage of 128 GB. The Android 10 OS along with XOS 6 comes preloaded on the Hot 9.

It has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel + low-light sensor quad-camera system. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
