OpenAI has made generative AI more popular than ever with its chatbot, ChatGPT. Although it’s fresh in the market, the company has continued to develop and enhance its capabilities, making it more reliable. As a result, ChatGPT has been integrated into various tools to improve the user experience. There are even rumors suggesting that it may soon be integrated into Infinix’s Note 30 series. The AI chatbot will apparently be integrated into Infinix’s voice assistant Folax.

ChatGPT will make Infinix’s voice assistant intuitive

According to Twitter tipster Ice Universe, Infinix will be the first smartphone brand to integrate ChatGPT into its devices. The tipster stated, “While the OpenAI’s ChatGPT app has already been launched, embedding ChatGPT into a phone is groundbreaking. When combined with the voice assistant Folax, ChatGPT will give Siri a run for its money.”

The integration is definitely interesting and could improve the voice assistant’s capabilities. However, we would not go so far as to call it “groundbreaking.” Instead, it appears to be a shortcut the company is taking, rather than going through the trouble of training its own AI model but that’s not a bad thing.

Infinix’s ChatGPT voice assistant was shown in a screen recording posted by Ice Universe. The voice assistant has its own avatar and can be activated by pressing and holding the microphone button. In the demo video, a user asked Folax for gift ideas for her daughter. Folax responded with a generative response, similar to the ChatGPT-powered Bing search.

The company is expected to introduce its ChatGPT-powered voice assistant with the upcoming Note 30 series, set to launch on June 14. Most of the details regarding the new lineup have already been revealed, and we have even posted hands-on images of the smartphones.
The month of March was full of smartphone launches. We witnessed the release of many most-anticipated handsets like the Oppo Find X6 series, Huawei P60 series, Redmi Note Turbo, and more.

For example, Vivo will be launching its new-gen foldables, including its first clamshell foldable. Also, Xiaomi will release its new Ultra smartphone, while Asus will debut its latest ROG gaming smartphone.

Apart from the aforementioned premium handsets, we are also looking forward to mid-rangers and budget models, like the much-awaited flagship-killer Poco F5. All in all, there will be new phone releases this month spread across different price segments.

With that out of the way, let’s have a look at these handsets one by one.

On the other hand, the X Flip will feature a large cover display on its back. But the screen appears to be inconvenient. This device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip instead.

Poco F5 Series

The Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro might release by the end of April. These handsets will go official as rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60.

Therefore, the vanilla model will house the new Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset, whereas the pro variant will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. But both will arrive with an OIS-assisted 64MP main camera, MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and 67W wired charging support.

Since both are rebadged versions of different phone lineups, their design will differ. Thus, the regular variant will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the pro.

The Infinix Note 30 was spotted on Google Play Console listing with key specifications recently. Now the device has been spotted in a leaked live image along with additional specifications. The latest development gives us a good look at the smartphone. The Infinix Note 30 is expected to arrive as the successor to the last year’s Note 20.

The Infinix Note 30 is seen in a Purple colour variant. The back panel has three camera sensors along with an LED flash unit. There is no protruding camera module, however, the area underneath the sensors has a glossy finish. On the front, the smartphone has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and bezels on all sides of the display.

The leaked live image of the Infinix Note 30 reveals the ‘About’ section of the phone. It mentions key specifications of the upcoming offering. This includes a 64MP triple rear camera and a 16MP selfie snapper, 256GB internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery unit. It will bear a resolution of 1,080 x 2,040 pixels. The smartphone will have 8GB virtual RAM technology.

Additionally, the About section in the live image also confirms that the Infinix Note 30 will be powered by an Helio G99 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and run on XOS-based Android 13 out of the box. It carries a model number X6833B. This is the same as the Google Play Console listing.

The Infinix Note 30 is expected to launch soon. The reason behind it is that it has appeared in the database of the Google Play Console. As usual, the listing has revealed the key specifications and an image of the device. Here is all that it is known about the device.

The Google Play Console listing reveals that the Infinix Note 30’s display will support a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The image of the phone available in the listing suggests that it has a punch-hole display.

It further reveals that the device is equipped with the Helio G99 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. It will come preinstalled with the Android 13 OS, which will be overlaid with the company’s XOS UI. The other details of the smartphone are yet to be revealed.

The Infinix Note 30, which has the model number X6833B, will replace the Infinix Note 12 (2023), which debuted in October. It came with a 6.71-inch AMOLED display that offered Full HD+ resolution and was powered by the Helio G99 chipset. The device offered 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. It came preloaded with Android 12 OS and XOS 10.6.

The Note 12 featured a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Its back panel featured a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. It housed a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. For security, it featured a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Infinix Note 30 lineup is likely to feature multiple models. One of them will be the Infinix Note 30 VIP (model number X6710), which was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG last month. So far, reports have revealed that the VIP device will come with Bluetooth 5.3, a 5,000mAh battery, and 68W fast charging support.
