The Infinix Note 50 and Note 50 Pro feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and reaches a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Under the hood, both devices are powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset. The standard model comes in an 8GB+256GB configuration with up to 8GB of virtual RAM, while the Pro variant is available in two configurations: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, with up to 12GB of virtual RAM.

Both smartphones pack a 5,200mAh battery. The standard model supports 45W wired charging, whereas the Pro edition offers 90W wired charging. Both phones offer 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

For photography, the Note 50 features a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and an AI lens. It has a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies. The feature also improves charging notifications by indicating the charging status with a glowing effect. Additionally, it alerts users to smart notifications, such as incoming messages and alerts. Lastly, the lighting system integrates with Folax Assistant, offering visual feedback to enhance smart assistant interactions.

The Infinix Note 50 series introduces Infinix AI∞, a smart assistant designed to enhance productivity and efficiency. With a single tap on the power button, users can get instant answers, refine photos, edit text, and explore AI-generated content. The AI also helps with daily tasks like navigation, searching for forgotten photos, and summarizing text instantly. For communication, features like real-time call translation, auto-call answering, and noise reduction ensure seamless and clear conversations.

Both phones come with XOS 15-based Android 15, an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers tuned by JBL, NFC support, an infrared blaster, and a more durable Armor Alloy metal frame. The Pro edition also features an x-axis linear motor, bypass charging, and an IP64-rated chassis.

As per the official teaser image poster on Instagram, the smartphone maker plans to unveil the Infinix Note 50 series in the Indonesian market on 3rd March 2025. This is the brand’s latest Note series models and will likely include at least a base Note 50 and Note 50 Pro variant. These new smartphones will launch with the Infinix AI technology that brings useful features thanks to AI powered tools.

Notably, this launch also arrives after the Infinix Note 50 Pro model grabbed the SDPPI certification in Indonesia earlier this month. While the teaser doesn’t reveal finer details regarding these devices, an earlier FCC sighting confirmed a lot more details. This listing has confirmed that the Infinix Note 50 will measure 9mm in thickness, support NFC, dual band WiFi, and 45W wired fast charging. Infinix Note 50 Pro spotted on SDPPI certification

The company’s upcoming Infinix Note 50 Pro recently visited the SDPPI database carrying the X6855 model number. Unfortunately, the certification listing did not reveal any finer details regarding this smartphone like its specs or availability. However, a recent FCC sighting revealed a lot more details. The Infinix Note 50 Pro will support NFC and arrive with at least one 12GB + 256GB storage configuration.

Design sketches also confirmed a dual tone design with a flat rear panel and large octagonal camera module. To recall, the vanilla Infinix Note 50 was also spotted on the FCC database with the X6858 model number. It was revealed that the device will come in a green and pink color option and have a body that measures 9mm in thickness. The device will also support 45W wired fast charging as well.

So we can expect the more expensive Pro model to also offer similar colors and with a similar if not higher wired fast charging rate. The older Infinix Note 40 Pro came with support for wireless fast charging as well. While the Infinix Note 50 series has been making headlines since its GSMA database listing in October 2024, detailed information about the phones had remained under wraps—until now. With the FCC certification, key details about the smartphone’s design and connectivity have been unveiled.

The FCC listing identifies the Infinix Note 50 under the model number X6858, and two color configurations—green and pink—were observed. The phone’s rear panel sports a rectangular camera module with rounded corners, located in the upper-left corner.

This module houses four lenses arranged in two rows: two large lenses and one small lens on the left, alongside a small lens and an LED flash on the right. The camera module matches the rear body’s color, while the Infinix logo adorns the bottom-left corner of the device.

The Infinix Note 50 measures 163.2 mm in length, 74.4 mm in width, and 9 mm in thickness. The FCC listing reveals support for 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE connectivity across multiple bands, along with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (likely version 5.0 or above), and NFC. The device will also support fast charging up to 45W. While the exact battery capacity remains undisclosed, the phone features a nominal voltage of 3.91V.

The brand’s highly anticipated new Infinix Note 50 series has appeared in the GSMA database and is preparing to appear with four different models: Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G, Infinix Note 50 Pro, Infinix Note 50, and Infinix Note 50X.

Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G “X6856”, Infinix Note 50 Pro “X6855”, Infinix Note 50 “X6858” and Infinix Note 50X “X6857” model numbers appear in the GSMA database. Technical specifications of the series have not yet been clarified. However, the previous version of the Infinix Note 40 series offers some clues about the new models.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro offered users a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness. The processor of the device was MediaTek Dimensity 7020. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

In terms of camera, Note 40 Pro stands out with 108MP OIS-supported main camera and auxiliary cameras; the main camera stood out with a 3x lossless zoom feature. There was a 32MP selfie camera on the front. The device’s 5000mAh battery could quickly recharge with 45W fast charging and 20W wireless charging options. With IPX3 water resistance and IP5X dust resistance certificates, this device was also ambitious in terms of durability. It also comes out of the box with the Android 14-based XOS 14 interface and offers an up-to-date software experience to users.

Although the Infinix Note 40 has similar specifications to the Pro model, equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor. 8GB RAM and 256GB storage were also included in this model. Camera and battery specifications were largely the same as the Pro model.

The Infinix Note 40X, which is positioned at a lower level, comes with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display, 120Hz refresh rate and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It offers up to 12GB RAM support and 256GB storage. On the camera side, comes with a dual camera setup. The 108MP main camera is accompanied by a 2MP auxiliary camera. It provided a more modest energy management with a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

In the light of this information, the Infinix Note 50 series is expected to hit the market with a similar design concept and features. However, in the Note 50 series, the Pro+ 5G model will be a strong player especially in the middle segment. The 4G version will be offered with a different processor, but there will be no major changes in other key features. The Note 50 will be simpler and more price-performance oriented than the Pro models, while the Infinix Note 50X is expected to reach the user with more basic features for the lower-mid segment.

With the launch of the Infinix Note 50 series, a great competition is expected to take place, especially in the middle segment.
