Infinix has introduced a special version of its Note Edge smartphone in India, aimed at users who spend a lot of time listening to music, watching videos, and gaming on their phones. Called the Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition, the device combines the existing Note Edge hardware with JBL-focused audio features and a bundled wireless speaker.

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition is available in a single 8GB+25GB configuration priced at Rs 24,999 (around $290). The smartphone comes exclusively in a Solar Orange colour option and will be sold through Flipkart. Infinix says only 5,000 units of this edition will be available, making it a limited-run offering.

As part of the package, buyers receive a MagPower Speaker worth Rs 3,999 at no extra cost. The company is also offering applicable bank discounts during the sale period, which can further reduce the effective purchase price.

The biggest difference between this version and the regular Note Edge is the bundled speaker and its entertainment-focused positioning. The handset itself retains JBL-engineered dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support, while the MagPower Speaker is intended to extend the audio experience beyond the smartphone.

The Infinix Note Edge features a 3D curved 1.5K AMOLED display with a slim profile and edge-to-edge design. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The processor supports up to 90fps gaming in compatible titles and is designed to handle multitasking, streaming, and gaming workloads comfortably.

Power comes from a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. For photography, the smartphone includes a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Other notable features include Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, and software features aimed at media consumption.

The Infinix Note Edge features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 4500 nits. The panel includes TÜV blue light certification to reduce eye strain during extended usage and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Despite packing a large battery, the handset maintains a slim profile at around 7.2mm thickness, complemented by narrow bezels and a curved-edge design.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs XOS 16 based on Android 16 and is promised three years of OS upgrades alongside five years of security updates. Infinix has also added AI-based gaming enhancements, signal-optimization technology, and a customizable Active Halo Lighting system that reacts to notifications, music, and calls.

For photography, the Note Edge includes a 50-megapixel primary rear camera supported by AI tools such as Live Photos and AI Eraser, while a 13-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. Additional features include stereo speakers tuned by JBL, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP65-rated protection and a 6500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and reverse wired charging support.

The Infinix Note Edge 5G starts at Rs 21,999 (~$245) for the 6GB+128GB variant, while the 8GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 23,999 (~$265) and the 8GB+256GB version costs Rs 25,999 (~$285). With SBI and ICICI bank offers, buyers can get up to Rs 2000 instant discount, bringing effective pricing lower.

The smartphone will be available in Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue and Silk Green colour options through Flipkart and the official Infinix online store starting February 25. Launch benefits include a one-time screen replacement, extended warranty coverage and additional subscription perks with select telecom plans.

On the front, it sports a tall 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, up to 4500 nits of peak brightness, and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i for protection.

Under the hood, the Infinix Note Edge runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC, which is coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A massive 6,500mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 45W wired fast charging and 10W reverse charging. For optics, the rear has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, while the front houses a 13MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Infinix is expected to globally unveil the Infinix Note Edge later this month. Ahead of the official announcement, we bring you a first look at the Note Edge’s design and color variants.

Infinix Note Edge color options revealed

As shown in the images here, the Infinix Note Edge will come in orange, blue, white or silver, and black. Apart from these, it is also expected to arrive in a green edition. It goes without saying that the orange variant is particularly eye-catching, and it is expected to be a common colour across flagship phones this year.

The front side features a curved-edge OLED display, and there is an additional green button on the right edge. The rectangular camera module on the back houses a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup along with an LED flash. For audiophiles, the device features JBL-powered dual speakers.

A side view of the phone shows a very slim profile. Its thickness is said to be just 7.2mm, despite housing a large 6,500mAh battery. The back panel uses a pearl-like gemstone finish inspired by a cat’s-eye gem, creating subtle light reflections and depth when viewed from different angles.

Infinix is currently mum on the full specifications of the Note Edge. The device was reportedly spotted on Geekbench with the all-new Dimensity 7100 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and Android 16. Hopefully, upcoming reports will reveal more details about the smartphone.

The Infinix Note Edge surfaced earlier this month via Indonesia’s SDPPI certification. Now the phone has shown up in a fresh leak, this time courtesy of tipster Paras Guglani on X.

The leaked image reveals the Infinix Note Edge in a green finish with a relatively slim profile. Around the back, the camera module stretches wide across the upper portion of the phone. It houses two camera lenses, an LED flash, and what appears to be an additional filler light.

According to Guglani, the Infinix Note Edge will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset. The processor hasn’t been officially announced yet, but the leak claims it will be built on a 6nm process.

Software-wise, it’s likely to come pre-installed with Android 16. Infinix is also said to be promising three years of Android platform updates and five years of security patches. 

Up front, the Note Edge is said to feature a 3D curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Keeping everything running will be a sizable 6,500mAh battery. 

Guglani adds that the Infinix Note Edge is currently slated to debut in January 2026.

The Infinix Note Edge seems to be a new phone line from the Chinese brand. It received SDPPI recognition alongside the Infinix Note 60 and Note 60 Pro.

The Note 60 Pro has already popped up on Geekbench with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which was announced earlier this year. 

The only other phone to feature this chip is the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, which is currently available only in China. The Note 60 Pro is also revealed to feature 8GB of RAM and Android 16.

While nothing is official just yet, there’s a good chance Infinix could launch all three phones together.

Infinix is reportedly working on the Note 60 series of smartphones. The brand recently confirmed the existence of the Note 60 Ultra by stating that it will be announced in 2026. In a new development, three upcoming Note series phones have emerged in the database of Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform, revealing their final monikers and model numbers.

Infinix Note 60 series SDPPI certified

The above screenshots reveal that the SDPPI platform has approved three upcoming Infinix phones with model numbers such as X6878, X6887, and X6878. These devices will be called the Note 60, Note Edge, and Note 60 Pro, respectively, when they arrive in the market.

A few details of the Infinix Note 60 Pro are already known, as it has appeared in Geekbench’s database. The listing revealed that it will be the company’s first smartphone to feature a Snapdragon chip.

The Geekbench listing revealed that the Note 60 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, which was announced in August this year. The only other phone to feature this chip is the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, which is currently only available in China.

The listing also revealed that the Note 60 Pro has 8GB of RAM and Android 16. The rest of its specifications are not known yet. Hopefully, the upcoming reports will reveal more details about the Note 60 lineup.
