Infinix has unveiled the Smart 10, an entry-level 4G phone, in India. The Smart 10 arrives as the successor to the Smart 9 and it is packed with several exciting specs made available at an affordable price point.

Infinix Smart 10 specifications and features

The Smart 10 features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD panel with a punch-hole cutout, offering a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 700 nits. It includes an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, accompanied by a secondary depth sensor. On the front, the phone sports an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with LED flash, capable of 2K video recording.

Powering the device is the Unisoc T7250 processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Users can expand memory up to 2TB via a microSD card. There is also an additional 4GB virtual RAM option. The device runs Android 15 with Infinix’s custom XOS 15 interface, and a 5,000mAh battery supports 15W wired fast charging and reverse charging as well.

Other key features of the Smart 10 include stereo speakers with DTS tuning, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and an infrared sensor. It is IP64 certified for dust and water splash resistance. It weighs 187 grams and measures 165.62 x 77.01 x 8.25mm.

Infinix Smart 10 price in India, availability

In India, the Infinix Smart 10 comes in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, priced at Rs 6,799. Colour options include Titanium Silver, Sleek Black, Iris Blue, and Twilight Gold. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting Aug. 2.

Infinix is gearing up to bring its next-generation Smart series phone to India. Ahead of the July 25 launch, the microsite of the upcoming Infinix Smart 10 entry-level smartphone has gone live on Flipkart. The listing has revealed the key specifications of the device.

Infinix Smart 10 key specifications revealed

The Infinix Smart 10’s microsite reveals that it has a 120Hz LCD panel with a punch-hole design and support for up to 700 nits of brightness. For audiophiles, the device is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack and a dual speaker setup tuned by DTS. For security, it features a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

The Smart 10 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone will run on XOS 15-based Android 15 and will come preloaded with Infinix’s AI suite of AI-driven features. For easy access to AI features like the Folax Assistant, the Smart 10 features the One Tap side button. There’s no clarity on whether it can be customized, as the company allows on the Infinix Hot 60 5G.

The Smart 10 will have support for the Ultralink feature, which allows users to make phone calls via Bluetooth when there is no cellular connectivity. It has an 8-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The rear camera comes with support for dual LED flash, 2K recording, and Pro mode.

The Infinix Smart 10 has a scratch-resistant back panel and it comes with an IP64 level of dust and water resistance. While the price of the device has not been revealed, it is expected to cost well under Rs 10,000. As can be seen above, the device will be sold in shades like gold, blue, white, and black.

Infinix is reportedly preparing to launch the Smart 10, and the first round of specs has now surfaced online, thanks to a tip by Paras Gugalni. 

Based on the leaked details, it looks like the budget-focused Smart series is getting a routine refresh, with some small spec bumps and a slightly redesigned rear panel. 

Infinix Smart 10 Specs (Rumored)

The Infinix Smart 10 is said to be powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset. The SoC has a similar two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 CPU setup as the MediaTek Helio G81 that powers last year’s Smart 9. So there seems to be no real upgrade in performance here. This will be paired with 6GB of RAM and an option to expand it virtually by 3GB.

Up front, the Smart 10 is expected to retain a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That’s the same refresh rate as its predecessor, though the screen resolution hasn’t improved, which means this will likely remain a 720p-class panel with slightly stretched visuals. 

Design-wise, not much has changed on the front. It still has a punch-hole camera cutout in the screen. However, Infinix is making minor changes to the camera module’s design at the back. 

The camera itself is now listed as 8MP, down from the Smart 9’s 13MP main sensor. There is likely a second lens as well. 

The smartphone will have the same 5000mAh battery capacity as its predecessor. The upgrade might come in the charging department from 10W to 15W.

There’s no word yet on a release date or pricing, but the Smart 10 is likely to remain in the sub-$150 range. Given the minimal changes, the device is suitable for first-time buyers or users looking for a very basic Android experience.
