Back in February, Infinix launched the Infinix Smart 7 smartphone in India. The device was initially available in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB configuration. Now, the brand has launched a 128GB storage model of the device.

Flipkart has now listed the Infinix Smart 7 with a 4GB/128GB storage variant with a price tag of ₹10,999. However, the smartphone is currently selling for ₹7,999. It is available in Night Black, Emerald Green, and Azure Blue color options.

Infinix Smart 7 specs

The Infinix Smart 7 has a 6.6-inch HD+ display that has 500 nits of peak brightness and a water drop notch. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

The Infinix Smart 7 comes with the Unisoc SC9863A SoC, providing powerful performance under the hood. Additionally, it boasts a unique RAM expansion feature that virtually increases its memory by up to 3GB. The device is driven by an impressive 6,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage. On the back, you’ll find a 13-megapixel camera with an AI lens, while the front accommodates a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone comes equipped with Android 12 OS with XOS 12 pre-installed, along with a dual SIM and microSD card slot, a USB-Type C port, dual 4G VoLTE support, and Bluetooth 4.2.

Infinix has officially released the new Smart 7 smartphone in the Indian market. The latest device from the company is a budget grade handset and features some notable specs. So here are all the details.

The smartphone maker clearly built this phone to make it seems premium despite its affordable price tag. It features a unique wave pattern design on the back that is coated with Silver ion spray for a more premium feel and a 99 percent antibacterial rate. The rear also houses a large camera module, which also houses the rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, the front sports a 6.6 inch HD+ display that has 500 nits of peak brightness and a water drop notch.

Under the hood, the device is equipped with the Unisoc SC9863A SoC that is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Although, the device can virtually expand its memory by up to 3GB through RAM expansion. Infinix Smart 7 is powered by a humongous 6,000mAh battery pack (no fast charging unfortunately), which is around 20 percent higher than most budget phones within this category, as per official notes. On the rear, it features a 13 megapixel camera and an AI lens, while the front houses a 5 megapixel selfie shooter.

Other features include, Android 12 OS based XOS 12 out of the box, dual SIM and a microSD card slot, USB-Type C port, dual 4G VoLTE, and Bluetooth 4.2. The new budget phone will be available in multiple color options like Azure Blue, Emerald Green, and Night Black variants. It will go on sale starting from 27 February 2023 for an introductory price tag of just 7,299 INR (roughly 88 US Dollars).

Infinix Smart 7 launch date in India has been revealed. The brand has set out launch invites. The device is set to debut in the country on February 22nd. The upcoming offering will arrive as the successor to the last year’s Infinix Smart 6. It will also come with upgrades compared to its predecessor.

The Infinix Smart 7 will come with a compact form factor. The back panel has a wave pattern that is said to be coated with Silver-ion spray which has a 99 percent antibacterial rate. There is a squarish camera module housing two camera sensors, an LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner. On the front, the smartphone is said to feature a 6.6-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution, 400 nits brightness, and a waterdrop notch.

The Infinix Smart 7 will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery unit compared to the 5,000mAh on its predecessor. The phone will pack 4GB RAM along with 3GB virtual RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The upcoming offering is expected to be offered in Green and Blue colour options.

The Infinix Smart 7 is teased to be priced under Rs 7,500 as per the company. This will pit it against the likes of the Redmi A1, Moto E13, Realme C30, and more in the market.

As for the Infinix Smart 6, it is powered by Helio A22 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery unit. It packs 2GB RAM along with an additional 2GB virtual RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The device features an 8MP rear camera paired with an depth sensor and a 5MP front-facing snapper.
