Last year SanDisk unveiled the world’s largest microSD card. With a capacity of 400GB and an A1 rating, the microSD card ticked most boxes for most devices. Less than 6 months later, UK-based Integral has snatched the crown with its 512GB microSD card.

The new microSD card won’t be available for purchase until February, but you may want to start saving up for it. SanDisk’s 400GB card sells for about $240, so expect this to cross the $300 mark.

The Integral 512GB microSD card has a UHS-I, Class 1 specification and a microSDHC/XC Class 10 rating. Intgral says it also has a transfer speed of up to 90MB/s and meets Video Speed Class 10 specification.

Unfortunately it doesn’t have an Application Performance rating, so it is not a great choice if you want to store apps on it. However, it will do well for storing media files.

By the way, can memory manufacturers stop using pictures of old devices on their packaging? That should have ended in 2017!!!
