As the Apple’s annual launch event on September 12th is nearing, the pace of leaks and rumors about new devices is increasing day by day. Apple is set to launch three new iPhones along with some iPad devices. Currently, nothing is official but according to latest leaks, an iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) is also due for launch at the upcoming event. In a recent leak, we have got some CAD based renders which flaunts its full design and other related aspects.

The new Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) renders have fully uncovered the whole device.  As per the CAD-based renders, iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) carries rounded display corners, symmetrical screen bezels and there’s no Headphone Jack. Further, there’s no home button, revealing Apple’s motive to focus on Face ID. Apple has added little thick bezels to make it comfortable to handle and use. The bezels are not made so thin because the larger display is more prone to accidental screen damage.

On the back, the camera position is the same with LED flashlight and a mic. Also, Apple has relocated the smart connector to the rear bottom side of the iPad 12.9 (2018). Further, Apple has added some new elements from the iPhone design architect. They have added antenna lines on the backside along with metal back (as it seems in the image). The change in Smart Connector position might be due to inability of the FaceID to work in the Landscape mode. So, the new position will force users to use the device in portrait mode.

The volume buttons are on the right side of the iPad Pro, with a power button also on the same side. There are four speaker grills for better sound. Additionally, according to rumors, the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) will measure 280.6×215×5.85mm. It will ship using an unknown chipset, might be the new A12X chip. The tablet is expected for launch on 12th September along with some other devices from Apple.
