We have today received a video from Oukitel showing the iPhone 6S Plus vs OUKITEL U7 Pro.

Surprisingly the blatantly iPhone 6S Plus influenced $69.99 (£46) Oukitel U7 Pro stands up quite well in the test, especially when you consider the pocket money price/performance ratio.

In the video Oukitel ask if you think the styling is similar to that of Apples iPhone 6S Plus, I would say the answer is pretty obvious to this, although the lack off visible plastic lines on the rear shell might suggest that it is plastic rather than metal, as the lines found on iPhones are their to allow the ariels to function through the metal rear casing.

Oukitel also show off gaming on the U7 Pro, if you consider the processor and the price of just $69.99, I would say it looks like its doing a great job keeping up with the graphically intensive driving game, however the iPhone does not appear to be running the game at full speed, this could be to do with the chosen car, as it seems a bit odd given the power of the processor under the hood of the iPhone 6S Plus that it would run this slowly, a better comparison would be to have both games running the same car on the same track.

Oukitel have also highlighted the Wi-Fi download speeds of the U7 Pro, something that appears a lot quicker than the iPhone 6S.

Personally I would like to run the tests independently to prove that things are as they seem, Oukitel if your listening I would welcome a test sample of the Oukitel U7 Pro to do an unbiased iPhone 6S Plus vs OUKITEL U7 Pro head to head.

A few weeks back, we reported about a new iPhone 6 clone called as the Dakele 3. The device was one of the best iPhone clones that we have seen till date, bringing high end specs along with a beautiful design.

Many readers asked us when the phone was going for sale. Now, we finally have some more information about the device.

The Dakele 3 is currently available for sale from a number of resellers on TMall.com. There are two different versions of the device, and the one we spotted on TMall was the high end Dakele 3. There’s another variant of the phone, the Dakele 3X which comes with less powerful specs and a cheaper price tag. However, this particular device retails for 1699 Yuan which comes to around $272. Unfortunately, we could only find the Chinese mainland edition of the phone.

To recap on the specs, the Dakele 3 comes with a titanium chassis and aircraft grade aluminum body. You get a Full HD 1080p 5-inch display up front with Sapphire glass protection. Inside, there’s an MT6752 octa-core 64-bit processor which powers the device along with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. For camera, you get a 13MP Sony IMX214 rear camera with an 8MP Sony IMX219 front shooter. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA/ GSM connectivity. Finally, for battery you get a 2500mAh one at the back.

The phone is priced at 1499 Yuan officially, but if you want to be ahead of others, you will have to shell out the above mentioned $270 to get hold of the device. Still, even with this pricing, it looks like a very good deal.

Apple’s products have always been popular for its design. So, its no surprise that many Chinese manufacturers try to bring its beautiful design at an affordable price tag with mid-range specs.

Last month, we saw Dakele 3 and the device was up for sale starting December 9. Now, we look at some of the real life images of the device and its as good as expected. We already know that the specs are top notch, much similar to the iPhone 6. Now, we can see that the device looks and feels just like an iPhone 6!

The Dakele 3 features a 5-inch 1080p display on the front with sapphire glass protection. Yes, you heard it right! This iPhone look a like has got the best screen protection in the market. The 1080p resolution translates into a impressive pixel density of 441 ppi. Next, the device will sport a 64-bit Mt6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7Ghz, Mali-T760 GPU, 3GB RAM and 16GB eMMC memory.

In the camera department too, the phone brings top end configuration. It features a 13MP Sony IMX214 sensor at the back and an 8MP Sony IMX219 sensor up front. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA/ GSM connectivity. Finally, there is a decent 2500 mAh battery to power all these specs.

Apart from the high end tech specs, the phone is built using premium materials. The outer frame is made of aircraft grade aluminum and the internal frame is made out of titanium. The company claims that this makes sure the phone will never bend. At 7.25mm thickness, its a slightly fatter than the iPhone 6 model, however the company says that this increased thickness has an advantage —  the rear camera does not protrude!

Overall, the Dakele 3 is the best iPhone 6 clone till date. The specs and the features and the amazing 1499 price tag ($240) gives tough competition even to the real iPhone 6.

Most of the iPhone 6 clones that we have seen recently have made sure that its operating system looks exactly like iOS. The Blackview Ultra too will come with a very similar interface to the Apple’s iOS operating system. In fact, this interface along with the exact looks of the 4.7 -inch iPhone 6 makes it very hard to distinguish between this clone and the real Apple device.

Most of the features and apps from iOS makes it to the device. So the inbuilt calender app, weather app, stopwatch, YouTube app etc are all designed to  look like the real deal. However, the phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS which as you can see is heavily modified to make it similar to iOS 8. Other notable apps include the Game Center, which takes you to the play store (so its just there for name’s sake), then the iTunes app which is essentially a music player which looks like the original iTunes.

The settings menu on the device is built like Apple’s UI. Even the options inside have the same iOS looks. As for the camera UI, its once again like Apple’s interface. Swiping up or down will take you to different shooting modes like photo, video, square and panorama. There are a lot of other camera options as well such as HDR (although we are not sure whether it works), flash toggle button etc.

Swiping down from the top of the display brings you the notifications center like all other Android devices. But even that is tweaked with iOS like design. Further, swiping up from the bottom will bring you the control center which is a trademark iOS feature. There are options for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane mode, volume level bar, the brightness bar as well as media control buttons. So, its exactly like the real control center.

You can also install the easy touch app on the device which brings in essential functions like back, home and menu keys right on the screen, even when you are inside an app. Given that the phone actually runs on Android, you get all the Android apps at your disposal like Google Maps, YouTube, Google Play Store etc.

While all these UI tweaks and design changes enhances the looks of the Blackview Ultra to the level of an actual iPhone 6, this can cause a small problem. Apart from the apps designed (tweaked) by the company that comes with the device, the other apps are made with Android 4.4 KitKat OS in mind. So, you may encounter some apps which look different from the phone’s OS but I guess that’s something that you must live with given the rest of the features and the cheap price tag. As of now, the Blackview Ultra just costs $119 in the market.

The device offers the same design as the iPhone 6 at a very affordable pricetag. So, if you wanted a smartphone that looked like the new iPhone, make sure you read further.

Design wise, like we said earlier, the Blackview Ultra looks exactly like the smaller iPhone 6 model. On the front, you have a 4.7 inch display with a front camera and other sensors on top. Despite the fact that the iPhone 6 has received a lot of criticism over its design (it is probably the most criticized first generation phone in the last several years), this has not stopped some Chinese cellphones from copying it. Beside the Dakele 3 which was revealed yesterday, another “Chinese iPhone 6” has arrived.

Today, a new phone from ZTE was discovered at TENAA. Its model number is ZTE Q7 and it received its network license on November 28. This phone (2G/3G/4G) has support for TD-LTE, LTE-FDD, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, and GSM, as well as dual-SIM. Like for its Nubia series, ZTE also added a small round circle for this phone. Its overall design looks strikingly similar to the iPhone 6. Fortunately, it does not have a protruding camera.

As for its specifications, this phone sports a 5.5-inch 720p display screen. It uses a 1.5GHz octa-core chipset (Snapdragon 615), has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, a 3mp front-facing camera, and an 8mp rear-facing camera. It also runs the Android 4.4.4 operating system.

Does anybody remember that iPhone 6 lookalike, the Lenovo S90? It looks like it is finally going on sale.

This phone has a 5-inch 720p display screen, a quad-core processor (1.2GHz), 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, an 8mp front-facing camera, and a 13mp rear-facing camera. As for its operating system, it runs the Android 4.4.4.

As you can see from the photos, it looks pretty similar to the iPhone 6, but fortunately, it does not have a protruding camera. This phone costs 1999 RMB (326.36 USD) and should attract many female consumers.

Lenovo’s Weibo account on their products’ closed beta tests recently introduced a mysterious new phone with a metal case called the “Lenovo Sisley.” According to Lenovo, it will go on sale soon and is currently undergoing closed beta tests. What’s more interesting is that from the photos that were leaked, it closely resembles the iPhone 6. From the camera’s position to the way the back and the antenna are designed, it almost looks exactly like Apple’s newest phone.

Reports say that this phone is mainly targeted at female consumers. It sports a 5-inch 720p screen and has a thickness of 6.9mm. It comes in greay and pink. It also has a 8mp/13mp dual-camera. Other specifications are not known at this time.

Nicai will soon release an Android smartphone that is a clone of the Apple iPhone 6 called the Nicai Super 6. As of now, it has been confirmed that two versions will be released: a standard version with lower specs and a high-end version. It has been announced that the standard version would cost 999 RMB and would come out after the holidays.

Like the iPhone 6, the Nicai Super 6 sports a 4.7-inch screen. You can see how alike both phones look in the pictures below although the latter is a bit thicker, measuring 7.5mm. The camera is also a bit more pointed like in the iPhone 6. Both are available in white, gold, and other colors.

Although it is unlikely that the Nicai Super 6 will even be 1/5^th the price of the iPhone 6, its specs are nothing to go crazy over. It has the 1.3GHz MTK MT6572 dual-core chip, 512M RAM, 4G ROM (supports 32G expansion card), a 4.7-inch IPS screen with qHD resolution, a 13mp/5mp dual-camera, 1600mAh battery, and support for TD-SCDMA and GSM networks (Nano SIM), as well as the usual sensors. Its OS is Android but its camera interface resembles the iOS’.
