It will be a performance driven phone that could be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. While the said phone is expected to debut in China as iQOO 3, there is no word on the name of its Indian version. Vivo has recently filed trademarks for three iQOO product names such as iQOO Pro, iQOO Neo and iQOO Lite with the Intellectual Property India. Probably, the country will be receiving with these names in future.

Among three aforementioned names, iQOO has already launched the iQOO Neo and iQOO Pro smartphone in China last year. It had arrived as a Snapdragon 845 powered device. The iQOO Pro was a Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform driven smartphone.

iQOO is yet to launch a phone with iQOO Lite moniker. Last year in September, Vivo had trademarked the iQOO Lite name with European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Hopefully, future reports will reveal more information on the iQOO Lite device. The above tweet has the screenshots with names of the newly trademarked iQOO phones.

A Chinese tipster has claimed that iQOO is now more of a performance driven brand rather than a gaming-focused brand. He added that Monster Inside lighting and design won’t be available on the next generation iQOO device. Hence, it appears will the upcoming iQOO 3 will have some gaming capabilities, but it won’t be a full-fledged gaming phone like the devices from Black Shark and Red Magic.

Rumors have it that the forthcoming Vivo iQOO 3 will a 60Hz refresh rate screen. It is expected to house a punch-hole AMOLED display of 6.44 inches that supports 20:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform with 5G support will be fueling the device with a 4,410mAh battery. It may arrive with a 55W fast charger. The handset is speculated to arrive with a 48-megapixel quad camera setup.

Rumors are rife that it could be called iQOO Lite or iQOO Neo Pro and it has a model number of V1936A. A new Weibo post by iQOO teases the arrival of the upcoming iQOO phone. The V1936A smartphone has also been benchmarked on AnTuTu through which its key specs have been leaked.

Next, the Vivo V1936A phone was spotted on the database of China’s 3C authority with a charger that supported up to 33W fast charging. Hence, it is being speculated that the alleged iQOO Lite has V1936A model number.

A Geekbench listing of the Vivo V1936A was spotted last week. It revealed that the Android 9 Pie OS driven phone has Snapdragon 855 chipset and 8 GB of RAM onboard. It had recorded 3516 and 11262 scores respectively in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench.

Today, the Vivo V1936A iQOO phone has surfaced on AnTuTu. The listing again confirms that the phone has SD855 processor and 8 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 256 GB. The display of the phone supports 1080 x 2340 pixels and it is preinstalled with Android 9 Pie OS.

In the CPU, GPU, memory and UX tests of AnTuTu, the new iQOO phone has respectively scored 146,594, 176,913, 93,243 and 60,266. AnTuTu claims that the phone could be equipped with UFS 3.0 storage. It has recorded a remarkable average benchmarking score of 477,016. The score is impressive as it promises to deliver a performance that is similar to Snapdragon 855+ powered Vivo NEX 3 5G and iQOO Pro 5G phones that are leading AnTuTu’s September list of top performing smartphones in China.

The purported iQOO Lite smartphone is expected to arrive with a waterdrop notch enabled OLED display and in-display fingerprint reader. It is expected to house a 4,500mAh battery. Hopefully, the smartphone will be appearing with all its specifications on TENAA in the near future. Now that the company has officially started teasing the smartphone, it may go official by the end of October.

Could be it called Vivo iQOO Lite?

The Snapdragon 855 mobile platform powered iQOO phone supports 44W rapid charging whereas the iQOO Neo that features the older Snapdragon 845 carries support for 22.5W charging. Since the iQOO Neo’s sequel is rumored to be equipped with Snapdragon 855 as well as 33W fast charging, it could be slotted between the iQOO and iQOO Neo in the market. Vivo had recently trademarked NEX Pro, NEX Neo, NEX Lite, Vivox Pro, Vivox Lite and iQOO Lite with EUIPO. iQOO is yet to launch a smartphone with iQOO Lite name. The moniker looks suitable for the newly Vivo V1936A. However, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know about its name.
