iQOO is gearing up to launch its latest Neo 6 smartphone in India. The device is set to be announced tomorrow (31st May 2022), but prior to its release, the pricing of the handset as well as its special offers have been leaked.

The pricing leak arrives from known tipster Mukul Sharma who shared the news on Twitter. Looking at the tweet, we see that the pricing of the upcoming smartphone has been revealed as well as some of its bank offers. This exclusive leak shows that the Neo 6 5G from the Chinese smartphone maker will be available for a price tag as low as 26,000 INR, depending on the bank offers.

In other words, it will retail for around the 30,000 INR mark in the Indian market. The tipster also revealed that the prospective buyers can avail a 3,000 INR discount through ICICI bank card, meanwhile, an Amazon coupon also offers an additional 1,000 discount as well. Furthermore, the device will be available in two color variants, including a Blue and Rainbow gradient option. For those unaware, the Neo 6 is a flagship grade handset, which features top notch specs.

Under the hood, it packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. A large 4,700mAh battery powers the device, which also supports 80W fast charging. The rear features a 64 megapixel triple camera setup, while the front has a 16 megapixel selfie shooter on the 6.62 inch Full HD+ AMOELD display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. Last week, iQOO confirmed the upcoming launch of the iQOO Neo 6 in India. The smartphone debuted last month in China with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. However, the Indian variant will come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Now, an apparent slipup by Amazon India has revealed the launch date of the iQOO Neo 6 in India. According to a MySmartPrice report, a push notification by the Amazon India app has revealed that the iQOO Neo 6 will launch on May 31st in India.

Going by the already confirmed specs of the iQOO Neo 6 Indian variant, it is highly likely that the device will be a rebranded iQOO Neo 6 SE.

iQOO Neo 6 specs (Indian variant – expected)

The iQOO Neo 6 Indian variant will likely come with a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a centered punch hole for the front camera.

Under the hood, it is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. It will likely be paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is also confirmed to offer 80W fast charging likely bundled with a 4,700mAh battery. It will come with Android 12 OS and OriginOS Ocean / iQOO UI.

For optics, the smartphone is expected to house a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone will likely have a 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
