<p>The<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo"> iQOO </a>Neo 7 was launched recently in China, followed by the Neo 7 SE and the Neo 7 Racing Edition. Now, the Vivo-owned is apparently gearing up to bring the Neo 7 to the Indian market. While there’s no official confirmation yet, a popular tipster says the smartphone will debut in the country in February. Here are the details.</p>

<p>Noted Tipster Mukul Sharma claims in an exclusive leak that the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iQOO-neo-7"> iQOO Neo 7</a> will be unveiled in India in mid-February. He didn’t reveal the exact launch date but said the smartphone will debut as a “solid mid-range offering”. Currently, there’s no official confirmation from the brand regarding the launch of the iQOO Neo 7.</p>

<p>Reports <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/27/iqoo-neo-7-bluetooth-sig-rebranded-neo-7-se/">foretell </a>that the Neo 7 launching in India will not be the same as the Chinese one. Instead, the company could take the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iQOO-neo-7-se">iQOO Neo 7 SE</a> and rebrand it as the Neo 7 for the Indian market, similar to what it did with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iQOO-neo-6">iQOO Neo 6</a>. If this sounds confusing, that&#8217;s because it is.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE--1024x683.png?x10805" alt="iQOO-Neo-7-SE" class="wp-image-508514" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE--1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE--300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE--768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE--696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE--1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE--630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/iQOO-Neo-7-SE-.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>To recall, the iQOO Neo 7 SE comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+ certification, and a centered punch-hole notch. The handset has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor with a Mali G610 GPU. The SoC is accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.</p>

<p>The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. It has a triple camera unit on the rear with a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. There’s a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.</p>

The handset will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/10/10/iqoo-neo-7-launch-date-tipped-expected-to-debut-in-a-couple-of-weeks/">likely debut</a> in the country on 20th-21st October. But ahead of an official announcement, the Neo 7 has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site with a Dimensity 9000+ SoC and up to 12GB of RAM. Here are the details.</p>
<p>An iQOO smartphone with model number V2231A has been listed on the Geekbench database (via<a href="https://www.nashvillechatterclass.com/vivo-iqoo-neo-7-v2231a-appears-in-geekbench-with-mediatek-dimensity-9000-soc/55502/"> Nashville chatter</a>). Previous reports suggest this model is the upcoming iQOO Neo 7. It is listed to feature an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, as evidenced by the motherboard, k6983v1_64, and the higher clock speed of 3.20GHz on the primary Cortex-X2 core.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-489877 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-Neo-7-geekbench.jpg?x10805" alt="iQOO Neo 7 geekbench" width="700" height="875" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-Neo-7-geekbench.jpg 700w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-Neo-7-geekbench-240x300.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-Neo-7-geekbench-696x870.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-Neo-7-geekbench-336x420.jpg 336w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>The handset also packs 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 12. As per the Geekbench listing, the iQOO Neo 7 has received a single-core performance score of 1,231 points and a multi-core performance score of 4,251 points. The listing does not reveal many other details about the smartphone.</p>
<p>Reports suggest the Pro variant of the handset will come with a 2K E6 AMOLED flat display offering a 144Hz refresh rate. It may pack up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Further, the device is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.</p>
<p>While the base variant is said to have a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely have only 67W fast charging. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Neo 7 could come with a triple camera unit on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V image sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel portrait telephoto lens.</p>

The handset became very popular among consumers due to its top-notch features and affordable price. Now, the company is reportedly gearing up to bring the successor of the Neo 6— the iQOO Neo 7— to China later this month. Ahead of its formal debut, the handset has been the subject of various leaks. And the recent one reveals details about its battery and charging specifications.</p>
<p>The latest specifications leak arrives from a known Chinese tipster Panda, with the new information revealing details regarding the iQOO Neo 7’s battery and charging (<a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/645/485.htm">via</a>). He claims the device will come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. The charging is no surprise since the device’s 3C listing has already confirmed the same.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_489403" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-489403" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-489403 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-7-neo.jpg?x10805" alt="iQOO Neo 7" width="600" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-7-neo.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-7-neo-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-7-neo-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/iQOO-7-neo-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-489403" class="wp-caption-text">iQOO Neo 7</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>Neo 7’s 120W fast charging is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, which came with 80W charging support. Just like the Neo 6, the upcoming handset will likely not support wireless charging.</p>
<p>As per a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/09/28/iqoo-neo-7-specs-reveal-50mp-sony-imx766v-120w-charging/">recent leak</a>, the iQOO Neo 7 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. On the front, it is said to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that will offer a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate.</p>
<p>In terms of optics, the device is rumored to be equipped with a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a new 50-megapixel primary camera, which is reportedly a Sony IMX766V image sensor. The same sensor is also found on the iQOO 8 Pro. The device is also expected to have a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel portrait telephoto unit.</p>
<p>iQOO is yet to confirm any details about the upcoming smartphone. We hope to learn more about it in the coming days.</p>
