In July, a trio of flagship smartphones from prominent Chinese brands, such as Redmi, OnePlus, and iQOO, will debut, according to a leak from tipster Experience More. The upcoming devices include the Redmi K70 Ultra, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, and the iQOO Neo 9s Pro+, each bringing impressive specifications to the competitive Chinese market.

The leaker said that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and iQOO Neo 9s Pro+ are likely to debut towards the end of July, while the Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to be available slightly earlier. The primary rivalry to watch will be between the Redmi and OnePlus devices. Here is a look at the key specifications of all three phones that the leaker mentioned.

Redmi K70 Ultra key specifications (rumored)

The Redmi K70 Ultra will be powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, paired with an X7 Gen 2 display chip. The handset will have a TCL C8 screen with a 1.5K resolution, a substantial 5,500mAh battery, and 120W fast charging. The phone will also feature a metal mid-frame and a short-focus fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro key specifications (rumored)

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is set to include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with an X7 Gen 2 display chip, and a 1.5K resolution X1 screen from BOE. It will come with a large 6,100mAh battery and support 100W charging. This model will have a metal middle frame and an ultra-thin fingerprint sensor.

iQOO Neo 9s Pro key specifications (rumored)

The iQOO Neo 9s Pro will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a Q1 display chip with a 1.5K resolution display. Its 5160mAh battery will support 120W fast charging. Unlike the other two, it will have a plastic mid-frame and a short-focus fingerprint sensor.

All three smartphones will sport a 50-megapixel main camera, which is most likely to have support for optical image stabilization. The primary camera will be coupled with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras. Reports have claimed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Realme GT 6 is also in the works. This phone is also expected to debut in July or August as per a different leak.

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9S Pro+ models are set to debut in China soon. But ahead of the official announcement, a fresh leak has revealed some key details regarding the Neo 9S Pro+ model’s specifications. It will reportedly pack a premium Snapdragon processor and a tall OLED display with a high refresh rate, so let’s have a look.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ Leaked Specs

The leak arrives from known tipster Digital Chat Station who shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). While the tipster didn’t explicitly state the name of the device in his leak, he used emojis to revecal that it was an upcoming iQOO phone. He stated that this smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. To recall, the Neo 9S Pro was recently teased to feature the Dimensity 9300+ processor.

Digital Chat Station further added that the smartphone could sport a tall 6.78-inch OLED display that offers 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260 pixels), 144Hz refresh rate, 2160 PWM dimming, and DC dimming as well. The high-end processor is rumored to be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Although, a 512GB option is also present in the leak. For photography, the rear packs a 50-megapixel primary camera.

While other finer details were not revealed in this leak, DCS claimed that the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will feature a dedicated graphics chipset. This would likely imply a smooth gaming epxerience. Apparently, this new device would be cost-effective despite offering top-notch specs and features. So it could be priced in the budget flagship/flagship killer category.

In December 2023, iQOO unveiled the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro in China. These devices came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets, respectively.  It appears that the brand is now working on the Neo 9S Pro series of smartphones, which is most likely to be an incremental upgrade over the Neo 9 lineup.

iQOO Neo 9s Pro, Neo 9S Pro+ chipsets revealed

The above poster confirms that iQOO will unveil the Neo 9S Pro equipped with the all-new Dimensity 9300 Plusv chip this month in China. The above teaser showcases the white variant of the device.

A Chinese leaker claims that another model, the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, will join the Neo 9S Pro. This device is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Neo 9 series is expected to rival flagship phones from Redmi, OnePlus, and Realme around July. These rival brands are likely to announce the Redmi K70 Ultra, OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, and Realme GT 6, respectively. While the Redmi flagship is expected to include the Dimensity 9300+, the Ace 3 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. At present, there is no clarity about the chipset that will power the Realme GT 6.

The specifications of the iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9S Pro+ have yet to be confirmed. It is likely that, apart from packing different chipsets, both phones have the same specs as the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro.

Vivo, the parent brand of iQOO, is currently teasing the Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, and X100 Ultra, set for launch in China on May 13. Therefore, it appears that the Neo 9S Pro will debut in the second half of this month.
