<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Vivo"><span style="font-weight: 400">Vivo</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> has been never known for affordable powerful smartphones. Instead, the company focused on designs and bleeding-edge technologies like in-screen fingerprint sensor, pop-up camera, waterfall display, and more.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">But to everyone’s surprise, the company launched </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iqoo/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Vivo iQOO</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> in March of 2019 with high-end internals for a mid-range price tag. It was a huge success and so Vivo launched a few more models and declared iQOO a separate brand.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iqoo-3-5g/"><span style="font-weight: 400"> iQOO 3 5G</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> launched earlier this year is the first phone from the brand to come with iQOO UI based on Android 10. Right before the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/23/iqoo-neo3-launch-snapdragon-865-144hz-display/"><span style="font-weight: 400">launch of iQOO Neo 3 5G</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> in China, the company revealed that it will roll out the latest software to all of its </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/22/official-iqoo-ui-will-be-released-in-mid-june/"><span style="font-weight: 400">old devices in mid-June</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Surprisingly, we are just in the first week of June and the update has been already released for Vivo iQOO. We expect the remaining eligible devices to also receive the update in the coming days.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Though iQOO is late to update its first-ever smartphone to</span><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/Android-10"><span style="font-weight: 400"> Android 10</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, it is understandable since it is a new brand and developing an Android skin from scratch does take time. Hopefully, the company updates its smartphones faster with the release of </span><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/Android-11"><span style="font-weight: 400">Android 11</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> later this year.</span></p>

The teaser dropped by the company thanks the community and reveals they have been working hard to develop iQOO UI based on </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-10"><span style="font-weight: 400">Android 10</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> for its older smartphones. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">In other news, the brand is all set to launch its next smartphone called </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iQOO-Neo-3/"><span style="font-weight: 400">iQOO Neo 3 5G</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> on April 23, which happens to be tomorrow. Although none of the teasers for the device pointed out anything regarding iQOO UI, we expect it to run this software just like the last phone.</span></p>
