Last week, iQOO launched the iQOO Z5 5G in China. Just a few days later, the mid-range smartphone has now debuted in India as well. The brand says that the new device is not a successor to the iQOO Z3 5G but rather an extension. Hence, the company will continue selling the older model.

iQOO Z5 5G Price and Availability in India

The iQOO Z5 5G in two colors variants (Arctic Dawn, Mystic Space) will retail for the following price tags in India starting October 3.

• 8GB + 128GB – ₹23,990 ($326)
• 12GB + 256GB – ₹26,990 ($366)

For a limited time during the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale (October 3-12), customers can get up to a ₹3,000 ($41) discount through Amazon coupon (₹1,500 off)  and HDFC Bank (₹1,500 off) credit/debit card as well as EMI.

iQOO Z5 5G Specifications and Features

The iQOO Z5 5G sports a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 16.7 million colors, 1500: 1 contrast ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen supports DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10 content, 91.36% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a centered punch hole.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone comes with ‘Extended RAM 2.0’ (virtual RAM) feature and a 28837mm² liquid cooling system.

For photography and videography, the device uses a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit (120° FOV), and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, there’s a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the handset supports dual-SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO), USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It has all the essential sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass.

Other features of the smartphone include a MicroSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, linear vibration motor, Funtouch OS based on Android 11, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W FlashCharge fast charging technology.
